Condolences should be for those that made the transition to GSK. If you received your mug as a result of that "accomplishment" you guys really are bigger losers than most of us initially thought. Rock on Patients First!

Not so fast...Novartis is free from this unprofitable business and a team of substandard managers who don't know their ass from a whole in the ground. BTW Same applies to the vaccines business! Gsk will regret it one day.

So? Those that road it out, stayed with Vaccines until the bitter end and transitioned to GSK are mostly all now raking in a cool $2k / month on unemployment.

 

Many have left. I find that those who have stayed, tell everyone publicly it is for the severance and stock vesting ... but in quiet, it is really about their ego and job title. Look them up those who stayed on LinkedIn - very few will show they ever worked at Novartis Vaccines or signal they are at GSK Vaccines through acquisition. They lie and make it appear that they have been with GSK for years. They cannot get a similar titled job elsewhere, so they stay. NVD was a dream for some very highly incompetent people, and they do not wish for it to end anytime soon. They will hang onto the bitter end.

 

None of the Flu people that stayed have even updated their titles to reflect they work at CSL. Still holding on the the Novartis title. Though many seem to have dropped the vaccines part lol.

 

I personally wouldn't go to CSL selling flu iv. The drug is $900+ per dosing in an ER setting and we all know what that means - you are competing with other affordable options as hydration, Tylenol, ketorolac, etc. so this sell isn't gonna be pretty folks.

CSL US employees are still employed by Novartis until Q1, 2016. Basically CSL is using NVS as a 3rd party mgmt group.

 

Been away from this company for some time since the sale now .. what a breath of fresh air getting out of this horrible division. I have never seen, nor will likely ever see again, a place so horribly run by incompetent people and more than a few in management positions who held deep hatred towards Americans and white Americans in particular. It was a major HR issue that many people saw but no one had the guts to pursue it
