What hypothesis are we trying to test with that experiment?

So we finally decide to make a new IOL material. We have been beaten up over glistening for years, and we said they do not make any difference in visual outcomes. How do we explain that we are coming out with new glistening free material?

What happened to all the proprietary manufacturing process that we have on acrysof? It is more than a formulation. It must be that the material is outdated and causes to many visual disturbances.

Ha-ha! That's why Novartis sells its cancer drugs for $100,000 a year per patient. Even doctors are disgusted with Novartis greed.

IOL future is also not good under this IOL R&D leader. He takes credit for the past work. Can't able to come up with anything new.

Correction: They don't want miracles. They want enough layoff's and divestment of under performing divisions so that they can eventually make it look attractive to a buyer and sell the whole thing.

Proprietary? Seriously? Antiquated would be more precise.
