Science? The product sells itself, do you think Psychs need to learn science 8 yrs post launch? Shire paid to get exp ppl so someone can actually grow this drug, vs. b2b reps that have been here forever and don't know how to grow an established product. You will be happy when you see numbers.

Hilarious that you are putting these companies on some giant pedestal when you left for a reason or went through so many layoffs and finally it was your turn. Why? Because of pod sales and failure to have any replacement strategy in place for large drugs going generic. We have been through one layoff here at shire...one. Why? Because we don't have a pod system and brought in a drug like Vyvanse to replace adderall xr which dominated the market and got it up to speed 2 years before AXR went generic and everyone kept their job. That is unheard of when a drug as big as AXR goes generic. So why are you bragging about big pharma? Their idiotic decisions are the very reason you are here now. And most of the reps that come from these places are loving it here because they actually get paid(unlike GSK) and the spreadsheets and signatures aren't near as bad as big Pharma. Have they gotten worse? Yes! Thanks to Novartis folks that you are praising for their excellent training. And in terms of the amazing training you received? Most of my docs always say shire reps stand out because they aren't just here to collect a signature or pull out a study and show them something for the 900th time and act like the doctor doesn't understand a drug that they have experience with for 8 years and have actual clinical experience and knowledge from their patients. If you want to add value it's not through constantly pulling out reprints and repeating sections from the PI. It's done by knowing their practice and patients inside and out and actually helping them accomplish their goals. No wonder big pharma has such a robot reputation. I've seen some great reps come from big pharma but it's not because they pull out studies and the PI. They like it here because they actually have the freedom to add value to their docs practices and not collect signatures all day.

Better to go drunk, happy and the life of the party then alone with no life and no friends, not to mention hated by all your coworkers.

    Hiccup!

Imagine that, drunk and mediocre effort and we still built a billion dollar brand? At least it's one brand that Kobe can't take credit for. Now all thats left is for you newbies to fuck it up which you are already doing.

    Drink up kool aid drinkers.

You are missing the point. These mindless KK clones want to take credit for everything! Too bad our share growth is sucking and nothing new on the horizon except what New Shire has to overpay for. "Old Shire" quadruples the stock and builds billion dollar brands- how's that "new" KK working out for us? At least we can be amused by her lackeys!

True, but the point was made here several times. KK likes to go around saying, "All I know is how launch billion $ brands." Here's a newsflash for ya' KK, you didn't do shit. You never led a brand team or a sales division that launched anything big. Your billion $ brands you are trying to take credit for are from a time when you were part of a 1,000 rep + sales force. Nice try sweetie!

Exactly. I think KK thinks if she can only bring in new and also mindless toads, they'll believe she's responsible for building the brand, so they will follow her. Sort of clever in a really twisted way!

Thats exactly what she does. Clever and sad! She doesn't trust anyone and gets incredibly frustrated when anyone challenges her or her direction. It stems from an insecure self-image where she constantly needs praise and needs to be right even when she's not, but will never admit it. And trust me, she's wrong a lot because she is in way over her head. She's never received any feedback either and is left to run rampant through Shire because she's protected by PS. Would love to know what (or who) she does to warrant that protection because she is not good at her day job and everyone laughs at her ineptness. If FO ever goes, PS and KK will be the first two run out of here. Too bad Abbvie didn't get to can those losers.

When old Shire played in the sandbox the cat kept covering them up.

KK: "I am looking for someone to share in an adventure that I am arranging, and it's very difficult to find anyone."
Losers: "We should think so — in these parts! The old Shire are plain quiet folk and have no use for adventures. Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner!”

Old Shire didn't play in the sandbox. We were too busy building a billion dollar brand! Sorry, KK... success was had well before you brought you dirty laundry here.
