dear Santa please bring us a new director that has compassion and will listen to us. We are all begging you for a new experience after we went through hell the past few years. We don't need someone who thinks they are the most intelligent person in the room and lacks undestandung of leadership. I will happily give all my presents back if you can deliver this gift. No more SD is already a nice start. To all a good night and 2017.

Wait Daul is gone? She ran lots of quality people off. Lots of people may want to return now. Gerow is still a fast talker who works behind the scenes.

Problem is you have managers who should not even be managers making bad hiring decisions which just compounds the problem here. This place is no different than any other typical Big Pharma micromanaged cluster F company. They should make managers track how many dumb and useless activities that they roll out. Hahahahahahahaha

I would agree that managers here seem to be intimated by the upper level managers who are clueless themselves. It's the blind leading the blind. Bunch of narcissistic over compensating managers here running around trying to justify how good they are and what they think they know. All this while they continue to miss the mark on goaling and ignoring customer focus.

Look Aptiom is a "me too" product and the management here is typical big Pharma drones trying to run around with carrots stuck in their arse while trying to pretend like they know what the hell is going on.

Funny but basically true. Most are cast offs that were not wanted were they were so they land at Sunovion. Neuro is a dumping ground where they attempt to revive their grave careers.

All these former UCB senior mgmt peeps are biting the dust here. That's what happens when unqualified peeps are put in leaderships roles over their heads.

This is what happens when a company has a phenomenal product, in this case Keppra and to a lesser extent Vimpat. Everyone that touched it claims responsibility when in reality they just rode the gravy train. When a product requires work and effort, they have no idea what to do.

Good post. I'll take it a step further. All these UCB people who rode "the gravy train" and sold their stories to land jobs on the Aptiom team hired lots of unqualified mangers to work underneath them so they could feel empowered as the managers they purposely hired were inexperienced in this space and primary care type managers. It's all 1 giant cluster F and as these UCB gravy train people are being shown the door and now their unqualifi d hires are still in place desperately trying to thread water.

For sales working in Sunovion with Aptiom-- is Aptiom still a large focus of the company? is it still being carried by a variety of teams? Looking to learn more about this space as I'm looking for a job there. How is Aptiom doing? any help will be appreciated

if any of those people, especially BG, claim they had anything to do with Keppra, they are kidding themselves. They did nothing more than what they were told.

The "big A" as we call it here is a huge focus for Sunovion. It has the highest paid and best reps. This will be a major revenue driver for years to come. Great drug! Hope that helps!

Well said amigo. BG brought an entire posse over from UCB who most were inexperienced opportunist trying to cash in. All this posse did was hire more inexperienced managers to work underneath them. Managers that they knew had no market experience and would not pose a threat to them and allow them to impose their great incompetence at will. The few managers who actually did try to question their incompetence and challenge their thought process were quickly shown the door. never seen so many unqulaifed specialty mangers all in one place before trying to impose their primary care skill set.

Damn mindless drones who are only capable of following a company script straight from the big Pharma play book.

we had one of these UCBers heading up sales at my last company. Sold the CEO that he had relationships and knew epilepsy. Only thing that blowhard knew was how to take credit for other people's work. Any talent from UCB has been long gone for some time.

And then they hired inexperiemced managers to intimidate and pull through their mindless trackers and message frequency big pharma garbage.

We must have been at the same company. That guy was a self serving empty suit. Sad thing is he actually believed he was all that.

Sad that many of DMs were hired as pawns to be glorified order takers from above and they do not even recognize the reality of it.
