Most are underpaid compared to the rest of industry. Need to cut corners and steal time to offset the poor pay.

Grossly underpaid when you look at the pathetic bonuses.

Word is recruiters are avoiding anyone who has been in "patient first" for too long. Companies are asking why people would stay in such a toxic environment like GSK. Yes their reputation is that bad.

Pull your head out of your a$$!! Why stay here? Many of us have a long history of success before PF, during PF and will be successful after PF! Why stay here? A compensation package that sits at 200K per year. Vacation of 4 weeks plus a week at x-mas. Health benefits that are a hell of a lot better than almost any other company out there. Ohhhhh but wait say you...we are under paid..says who? Prove it! FYI I have recruiters calling me all the time. Maybe I should go to AZ, BMS, Lilly, or Merck? Get real! Is it perfect at GSK? Hell to the No! But it aint that bad either. Now go stick your head back where the sun don't shine!

-There isn't any entitlement anywhere, this is a crutch used by small minded people who have a pre made bias against "them". The only thing most ask for is consistency which there is none. 90% of complaints are about the roulette table goals, values, and evaluations.

-The money is why ppl stay, yes I think they compensation is fair and lovely. The environment is so toxic though, even so it's hard to leave. However, if you find similar get out! This company is on generic thin ice.

Just imagine how bad it is for the family members that have to deal with this nutjob.

They probably let him play on the computer all day long so that they don't have to deal with the nightmare that he is.

If you think that this job is difficult, you are in a LOT of trouble after the big downsizing. Based on your comment, I foresee your ending up at a CSO (if you're fortunate).

Or there are other alternatives based on the skills learned with this job. For example, much of the day is spent driving around in a car. Therefore, this person could drive a taxi or become an Uber driver. Another option is to build off the skills learned from dropping of food to the offices. This person could deliver pizzas for Dominio's or sandwhiches for Jimmy Johns. Alternatively, this person could use their sample dropping skills in securing a new job handing out perfume samples at a department store or food samples at Costco. The career options are plentiful!
