Hybrid option for only "safe" drivers!?!

So, you want to have a positive impact on the environment at our company by reducing our carbon footprint... but Fleet will only let you do that if you have a super clean 5 year driving history at the company?! SO, for those of us who were bumped into or had a violation years ago have to "pollute" our environment by not having a hybrid vehicle option. MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL. Maybe a perfect driving record at the company would yield an "upgrade" option on the current selectors... like a sun roof or better sound system? I am just saying..

check with your manager.. if you ranked a 1 or a 2 in the last 4 semesters, you can get the hybrid. Just need FLL approval.

Whats funny is that after the buy out, SKB reps had their regular co. cars and the spoiled rotten GW reps had Tahoes.

Ha ha I was thinking the same thing when I read the announcement. Way to be environmentally friendly GSK....for a few employees.

So keep your driving record pristine by doing as little as possible.

Is there an option to get a bigger car than the escape?

Big regret was staying w/GSK too long. (did not explore smaller companies) Got a major raise since they had no MM division and valued experience in Managed Care. Got a Volvo as a company car. Of course, I went into consulting and drive a Mercedes GLC these days.

I do not know why people are so damn rude. Some of us have a life, and since this is our full time vehicle, it is a valid question.

To answer your question, they are in the process of changing some things in fleet. It is all Ford choices right now, but I am not sure if you can request a bigger car. Some people also have a Ford Edge instead of the Escape, but still is pretty small too.
