My humble opinion would be not to take a hospital role unless you are going to be selling a true hospital-based drug. I speak from experience and am being "redeployed" from a hospital position and placed in a role which may or may not make sense for my skill sets. Basically, my company screwed up by even having a hospital role to begin with and now they are trying to fix their mistake but really are creating even more of a mess. Trust me, think about it before you take a hospital role.
