    All hospital will be gone. Merck is contracting with major wholesalers to move product with built in incentives. The process will be the first in pharma history.

    Not a new idea,I actually worked on an evaluation of the pilot project back in 2005. We did a contract with the two largest institutional wholesalers to determine feasibility. It did produce positive returns but for some reason it wasn't continued. Only a matter of time to see the rerun and dissolution of the HSF

    Yes get rid of the only people at Merck who know how to sell antibiotics. Brilliant strategy.

    The hospital business is going to transfer to wholesaler initiative. Hospital group is totally gone and dissolved
