great to recover from the great fall of 2014!

Had better coverage for Pharma still barely recovered! Consumer and vaccines are to thank.

Vaccines? Really? Low profit and high margin? Hmmmm. Word on the street is that the new CEO will be forced to look into divesting both vaccines and consumer in 2017. Tis is not speculation, it's based on share holder meeting notes as well as being widely discussed in the media. So if vaccines was responsible for our revenue, thanks. Im just not so sure that division has really lived up to the hype.

vaccines are easy money and so is consumer. Pretty reliant on making cash with out issue. Pharma will have a rude awakening soon.

Bingo, that's the real result to worry about.

Yes, but with a new CEO who is likely to be from R&D (e.g. Geno Germano) and not an internal candidate, one can envision that either through deal making or acceleration of in-house projects that this will be reversed. Board Chairman Hampton is a pretty smart guy and will not turn over the fate of GSK to vaccines and consumer health.

The faster we can bring in the right CEO, the faster GSK can return to real growth.

Which type of ceo are we talking here? The one who will "save Gsk" or the one who will split companies and have a successful career running consumer?

Definitely someone that will restore greatness to pharma at GSK. Vaccines will remain but with the increasing sales from consumer it becomes more and more attractive to sell it off.

I'm excited for the future of a new GSK.

Yeah generations have everything to do with what INVESTORS SAY you dumbass! This company is breaking up as soon as the next ceo gets in place! Witty is leaving to NOT be the guy who does it. Investors are begging for this, it's going to happen.

The new ceo will spilt and give the middle fonger to Pharma no faster than your kool aid drinkers take another sip.

The list on the petition is now over 10000

There will not be a new CEO to destroy the company that Sir Andrew has built.
