AZ had a reputation for being a "starter" company for newbies to the pharma industry. It is clear that when BMS was purchased, the workforce population age curve increased tremendously and as such AZ doesn't know what to do with the experience and mental maturity of BMS legacy. As such, you see a lot of people getting pushed out because the AZ balance sheet can't support actual retirements nor do they respect people who know how it should be done.
Say what you want, BMS was a good company with great training. Wish you well George! Don't let these fuckers cause you another health crisis, your family needs you more.
They way you hide your incompetence is to hire and surround yourself with inexperienced and non threatening people who don't question you either because they are scared to or too stupid to recognize a mistake when they see it. Anyone who challenged leadership in the past was forced out or punished. Those that remained learned the lessons well, never volunteer and never question.
