Did anybody interview in Dallas this week with inventiv and galderma? I interviewed for the north nj territory but they said the other candidates couldn't make it out until next week so I wouldn't find anything out until then. Wondering if I am a finalist if that will include a second interview in Dallas?? Anybody else interview and get a second interview and/or offer?

Unfortunate that this division has struggled to gain traction in the first year. Non-scientific sell, poor distribution and unorganized partnership with Galderma and Inventiv is just the beginning of the struggles. Morale remains low -the strong reps in the group have already left or are looking to leave. Goals have been unobtainable since the beginning. The incentive compensation plan document has been changed weekly at many points since launch to account for numerous plan errors. If you have no pharma experience, this division may be a place to gain it. If you have experience, weigh your options. Significantly better opportunities are available.
    Cheers!

its not the division. It's the entire company and the good old boy network. But all this is changing as new leadership changes from the top. Turning into big Pharma.

This division is poorly organized with little to no good leadership or direction. As many launches can be disastrous, this one has been a catastrophic failure. It began with an exclusive launch at CVS. None of the pharmacists have been aware of the product. Even when driven by dermatology recommendations, many get lost at the pharmacy because the pharmacist tells the patients that they don't carry the product and have never heard of it. Originally the company asked reps to keep a log of physicians that would be interested in dispensing. Not a rep in the country and more than 5 providers that were interested in selling out of their location. This lead to questions at the national sales meeting in January. It was made very clear "we are not a dispensing company and we are committed to increasing distribution." They also committed at that point to rolling the contract reps directly to the company. A few months later these reps were informed that they were joking off on the roll over until they saw more numbers. Screams lay off. The following quarter dispensing became part of the incentive compensation. Point of sale was the other competent. By the end of the quarter 8 out of 58 made the dispensing quota. And no one made the point of sale. The number one rep was still only at 40something percent to goal. YET, the company decided for the next quarter to add 10k into each person dispensing quota. No payout if you are under 80%. There only 5 people in the country that are even at 10% of their goal....its 50% of the way through the quarter. To add insult to injury the products are being discounted and removed from shelves. When I say discounted, the products are being sold in retail at a cost less then the HCP can purchase it through Galderma. Coupons remain in circulation. These coupons are not honored by Galderma on a physician level. Being new to sales and not having a lot of experience in this arena it just feels wrong. As I have spoken to more seasoned reps, it has been made clear to me that this is not the norm. A goal should be challenging, not impossible. Galderma has an ASPIRE program for physicians who order Restalyne, dysport and other aesthetic products. They will not include the self medication products into this program to help incentivize providers to carry the excipial line as well.
Anyone who is not looking for another position currently is simply holding on until the contract is cancelled.

100% Spot on. With the call scheduled for tomorrow this may be it for the contract

And....as previously suggested, it happened. Funny part is Patrick money has preached loud and clear from the beginning how committed he is to this division. There will be roll overs. Committed to excipial's success as well as the division I bet he has a job at the end of the day. Allergen graduate.

Yup, complete failure of a launch with no real direction. Bummer to be out of a job, good luck to everyone in finding a position

    This company. . . This contract. . .
unbelievable. good luck to all finding a job. Apparently they will not write a letter of recommendation. even to those who sacrificed time and energy putting their all into the project. SHAME on inventiv for allowing the bullying that took place by Patrick Mooney. From the very beginning it was promised to have a roll over. from the very beginning, Galderma was committed. Committed, is only as good as the people that worked directly for Galderma. When the people who handled national contracts with retailers could no longer do their job, it was the INVENTIV people who lost their jobs. It is ugly how it took place. they asked for leads. Managers that are now sales reps, are reaching out to the reps that have been terminated asking for help. This company has never successfully launched a product. they ride on the coattails of Cetaphil and hope that that reputation carries them through. these people. this company. never.

unethical co. It sold Inventiv a bill of goods from the beginning.

PM and AH should be fired but they always seem to keep the shitty managers.

Sounds like a Wells Fargo incident.

The writing was on the wall right away at the interviews at the DFW airport. We should have taken a clue from the guy who got an offer on the spot and then immediately jumped out his hotel window.
