Firing People Left and Right????

    They just fired some reps that have been with the company for awhile and had good numbers. Not great numbers but they were meeting their draw. Have others heard anything about firing men and rehiring young women with no dental experience? If you pay your own expenses and make your draw what is the reasoning for this?

    Is this happening company wide? Please share your story.

    Why shed seasoned reps now to hire new ones? Don't the reps work on commission? How is that helpful to bring someone on and pay there expenses. Why not just let the rep. with the relationship stay on? Are they trying to create a revenue stream by cutting labor cost?

    Paid commission on their accounts not on growth. No growth coming from senior reps. New reps are hungry will get growth. The other accounts are on cruise control no need for the senior rep.

    Endo vision not working again they can be replaced by telesales reps. All makes perfect business sense. That is why we are the leader in dental distribution.

    They will 'cruise' right over to the new company the Senior Rep takes them to when they leave b/c they were treated like s h it.

    Your comment validates the theory that there are a lot of s t upi d gullible morons in the dental business just taking up space.

    Try not to cheaat too much on your expenses today. Your days are numbered.

    It is my understanding that the new reps. that were hired have not retained a majority of the business because they do not have a relationship with the offices. **This opens the door for the competition who has called on the office for years.

    Now these new reps. are on salary with all their expenses paid and their accounts aren't buying. How is this helpful?

    You are not understanding. Schein market share is growing and it is not from the senior reps. The newer reps are doing great. Other than endovision going to telesales the model is working. telesales will be much less expense than field reps for a specialty field

    I understand perfectly. In order to boost the numbers of the new rookies they take clients away from the senior reps. They build up their new hires with business someone else earned and paid for with their personal money. Shame on you.

    You are a liar. It is a discriminatory action to perpetuate a belief that younger is always better. You can build up a new hire by taking someone's accounts and you should know better than to be so dishonest. Some reps. are losing territories they built up over the years. If the company is so desperate to boost their profits they should look elsewhere.

    I know reps. that had great growth and they fired them anyway. People are disposable to be used and thrown away. If your new reps. are so good don't take from someone else to build them up with artificial numbers.

    Take accounts away from senior reps to give to rookies??? What world do you live in? The only reason that would ever happen is at the customer's request because the senior rep isn't servicing them properly.

    you are nuts. If the senior rep had any relationship with the account they would not stand for having a rep change let only one to a new rep. No relationship the account could care less. All reps are given accounts when they start even those senior ones you think are so great.

    I do feel bad for the endo reps being replaced by telesales

    Could you please let us know where the 6 reps. that were let go were located. What are their ages? Any pattern of who they are firing? Why is this happening now? Thanks


    Why not lay them off and give a little severance?
