Starting to think the Epbu contract is not as strong. Cars are off the table.
There has been no extentions announced.

Unfortunately good news tends to come later than expected. The negotiations and sign offs are slow. Maybe that will change. The car thing is a non issue. It doesn't make sense for many flex reps as initially proposed. Stuff like too much cost sharing, spouse can't drive it, etc weren't popular. That's why the program was tabled. Feedback.

The news of an extension always came a full year ahead of the expiration. It is making me wonder.

Ok it is October and this is making me wonder why this contract has not been renewed yet. They have always renewed at least 1 year prior to the expiration of the contract. No word except it is still in talks. That is really not a good sign.

Wait why can't we have lunches right in the middle of asthma season?

has the contract extension been signed? Gator program hasn't been updated since August which seems really weird after all the hype..and no money for lunches ..doesn't look good..

It will get extended but it is frustrating working with less resources and more expectations.

How do you know it will get extended? Verbal means nothing. What is the hold up with signing it?

Even getting it signed means nothing. A contract can end at anytime. The EPBU will keep going.... Where else can they get people to work for $30 an hour. We are cheap, successful labor.. And most of us love the flex time. You can't take a week off every month all winter and summer anywhere else.
