Entresto National Meeting

Is a National meeting really necessary? Does anyone really want to spend a week at a meeting that could be done via webcast / teleconference? The expense of the meeting could be used towards Entresto resources and the travel time could be better utilized with time in the field. The Oncology & Dermatology divisions have already figured out that webcast are just as effective and welcomed by Reps. August is the end of the trimester and year end, when we should be in the field and not in airports, security TSA lines and spending an enormous amount of dollars on hotel, f&b and other meeting expenses. I hope Senior Leadership follows the other Novartis Divisions and adjusts to the technological advances!

 

Completely agree. But corporate doesn't have a clue. They are just justifying their existence. Such a waste of time and resources.

 

The majority of the time we are sitting in a room watching a telecast that SLT and Brand are streaming to each room. Why don't they stream it to our iPads and we can participate via web telecast!

 

No nsm's. For any brand. Period. Not sure what leadership cannot understand about what a total waste they are and how demoralizing they are. Smdh

At least 40% of the jobs in this company can be done from home.

Every one of these meetings could be done from home and save a ton of time and money

At this point this meeting is a little over a month away, we have no additional information, don't know where we are staying, when we need to arrive or depart, nothing for making flight arrangements... Im beginning to wonder if this meeting will actually take place. They company upper management has split and completely changed, the drug is not doing well yet we added additional reps, the cost of a national meeting has to be stupidly expensive and really outside the guidelines there is nothing new to talk about. I think there will be changes come September so what's the point of a national meeting in August ? I think that's why we don't know anything further .

 

just heard the meeting will be at the Jellystone campground in Branson MO. Everyone gets a 4 person tent with 3 roommates and 2 sleeping bags. There will be a lot of team building going on. Entertainment is the 'Meet the Beetles' group during the BBQ gala affair - shirts optional.

 

Just heard it is being postponed.
