If you are here reading this post and you currently work for this shit hole.....you are a fucking idiot....or you are a manager......why would you put yourself through this shit??? I worked here long enough to get me by until something better came along....I just got a better job working at a port-a-let company emptying portable toilets....it really stinks, but it's so much more enjoyable than selling for Applied medical. The management here is a bunch of washed up, no talented, ass kissing fuckers.....the trainers are even more fucked up.....they can't sell so they put them in house to train skilled sales professionals....this company is the biggest fucking joke I've ever seen............................

This shouldn't be a surprise if are part of the Applied Medical sales team you are a manager. Anyone working in the medical device world while not respected or symmetrical with typical industry is management. This is a management structured field and I wouldn't guess as to what your choice would be if you were told to "shit or get off of the pot". Considering your language a suck fish solution seems to be your answer to sink or swim. So wave your magic wand because portable toilets is your water magic.

Has it ever occurred to you that maybe some people work here just as a stop-gap to better things? Like millions of people in this world, not everybody can have their dream job. Have some respect for those who are not fortunate enough to find the job of their dreams. I worked here years ago and it was a joke. Nobody respected the company, and mgmt was looked at as a bunch of over-the-hill, out of touch with reality know-nothings. The employees clearly want nothing to do with this place. It's clearly run by a bunch of narcissistic dimwits that are all part of the "good 'ol boys" club. I'm glad I left with my dignity years ago for greener pastures and judging by the dozens of posts in the past few months on here it appears nothing has changed and I encourage anyone who is looking to get out to have hope.......you will persevere and leave soon. You deserve better.

A group of men sat around a fire one night telling old Indian lore. The elder began a story of his own story of an Indian brave that promised to conquer a nation with his mind rather than might. He told his story of how the Indian brave was raised on a Black Foot reservation worked hard, hunted buffalo, fought in wars. He used grand explanations and language with physical movement to explain this Indian brave as a great warrior going to battle that had the courage of many men with many more followers. The elder went on in detail with those around him caught up in his story while their eyes were fixed on him when he brought animation in front of the fire. He used analogies of the wolf and the badger working together to stay alive in the wilderness. He told of the turning point that changed the Indian brave’s life “He was in the woods in front of a fire sitting on a makeshift raft when the spirit of a bear and fox sat on the other side of the fire. They sat in silence while the animals of the wilderness surrounded them. The fire grew and he was warm with wooded flame covered in soot. The bear was the first to speak. ‘I am the keeper of these lands and my claim is sacred’ the fox then spoke ‘I live off of the land and take what the bear leaves behind.’ The Indian brave who was silent then spoke, ‘I am neither keeper nor taker. Spirit of bear and fox, I am man. I am maker of men that build nations and I will build with respect to you bear and fox, wolf and badger.’ The bear stood showing his great size ‘You will build a nation that feeds many and causes others to dig deep.’ ‘And I will take what is left behind’ the Fox said. Then the animals ran off and Bear and Fox disappeared.” The group were caught up with his story “Then he was ready for his moment of triumph” The elder said. “What did he do?” The chorus of men asked curious with what happened next. The elder changed his posture and flipped up his hands, “He opened a casino and wound up buying all the houses around the casino after the home owners dug deep into their bank accounts and gambled all of their money away.” After his story one of the men threw a marsh mellow at the elder who turned his attention and explained, “The Indian brave conquered himself a little nation with his mind instead of might. That’s what’s important to remember and learn about capitalism. While not always perfect, it works!”

For the people that believe that not even the sea can keep us from one another. Matters of the sea. The sea doesn't matter what matters is this we all belong to the sea between us.

Wasn't this part of a poem being read during the raising of the American flag in Cuba?

Very true. Use it as a stepping stone and get out. I left a few months ago and even though it was my first device job, this company is a joke. The fact that they are recruiting college grads and paying them $50k for 9 months of training says enough about this company. I hate being negative, but I had nothing but a negative experience with Applied.
