You're taking this shit way too seriously, bruh. Pfizer, schfizer, all of this exists on this /b board only. Just be a good fucking researcher and a half-decent individual, do your part, follow rules, respect the leadership and don't forget to scan items from the fucking stockroom. Not hard. Peace.

  2. Forget where CV is headed--ask yourself how CV got here in the first place... It's skypes at the helm no doubt, don't be fooled! Next!

Whoa, dis' reach af. Three words: check your privilege. Remember, there's someone in Bangalore|India researching away at this very moment. And from Giovanni's vintage point, you and that very special someone are virtually indistinguishable.

    Sahib,
Bristol and its Anglo managers is a vulgar company that will eat its children. The homeland will be victorious. Swami

So a person who has to check this thread is talking (or speculating) about how Giovanni's views things. You should know your limits.

BMS has had the history of shedding franchises before. diabetes, neuro, to name some. Uh oh. It seems like BMS wants to be Immnuno Oncology only in the end.

Hearing more rumor layoff announcement pre-Thanksgiving

Yes very likely.. Either next or the week after !!

This is so typical. Some information will be leaked couple of weeks prior to the layoffs so employees know what to expect.

I think there is little use in worrying. It is what it is.

IO is not the future. Everyone has an antibody. In 2 years, PBOs will force everyone to lower their prices to wholesale levels. There's so much competition here, there won't be any first to market advantage in about 2 years. This reorganization is going to destroy BMS in 2020. There won't be anything coming along in the pipeline to sustain it. They need more balance and medium to long term planning.

BMY's target size is 18,000 employees, about the same as AMGN... 7,000 cuts still left.

Why would we want to be like AMGN? They are limited to antibodies and crappy in licensed small molecules. Let's be like JNJ: discovery of best molecule, large or small.

Getting rid of capability now will starve us in 6 years. Look at GSK.

JNJ 125,000 employees, class act... BMY 25,000 employees, bottom-feeder.
