The main issue is the CV superiority complex from the DM's and the Reps. They think they are better than Genmed. Very Condescending attitude which is amazing because their performance is terrible and they have never paid for themselves. That team has no idea how to pull through the medication by working with the staff. They think their job is to call on the Cardiologist, just like a traditional pharma rep. They have had time to adapt and learn specialty pharmacy but they have failed to embrace the grind that makes the difference at Amgen.

They have no access and need to go. It is no wonder why we are failing in Cardiology. This is a common sentiment throughout the country and the Salesforce structure needs to be corrected before we move forward as a team.

Speak for yourself, I know that myself and my CV counterparts dominate the Genmed (worthless) reps here in south Texas

BCBU is one sales force with one VP and GM. I can see 1 rep per territory coming and I welcome it. Layoffs will happen. Announcement will take place in S2 and layoffs will be in S1. Hopefully sooner. This question will come up during the S2 meeting in and there will be denials from leadership.

There is also no compensation plan presentation during the sales meeting. What a joke!! This is not typical. They have no clue of the forecasted numbers and will drag it on until Sept to give the field a goal.

Make sure to record all best practice sessions during the training so you can keep it as your record. Compliance violations is all over CV! More people will get fired over it.

Not layoffs, restructure. There is a difference. If you have good numbers, don't worry about a thing. If you don't, look.

"Restructure", "reorg", "right size", "down size", "realign"...people will lose their jobs.

What is consider good? Top 50%, 60% from the ranking report? Wait, or is it market share? Or NRx? Or growth? POA execution, reach and frequency? Programs executed? All these damn metrics that we are not even paid on and being shoved down our throats! I can't breath let alone think.

There is about 400 reps including the overlays. Sounds like the restructure just included some lower salary reps. 30% displacement based on business need across the country is my guess.

Data is horrible here. My DM keeps checking with Sales Ops and they don't answer him or they say it is a category that doesn't report. Why doesn't anyone talk about this here?

You took the words directly out of my mouth. CV & their RASs are completely incompetent. I've overheard more than one comment that "they don't do pull thru". Hopefully, some of them will go the way of their sugar daddy, MT.

Gen Med carries the CV division.......

most of the CV reps spend 80-90% of their time interviewing but anyone with Amgen CV on their resume is damaged goods
