Man how could PB screw up after the 840? Such a great vent. Exp flow sensor never gave us any issues. And amazing gas delivery performance with sickest patients. Can't beat the plateau button. So sad.....

 

Sounds like nothing changed. 980 is a train wreck.

 

I heard that the 60 Puritan Bennett 980 vents at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC were replaced by GE Vents.

 

GE? They will be pulled in a few weeks as well. Only solid vents right now are v500, G5 and servo I/u. No point to look at GE. It's glitchy as heck. Check the GE thread heree on CP.

 

GE gives vents away. Expiration flow sensor issues here we come.

Is anyone else having trouble getting service? It is sure not like it used to be. Wonder what's going on. I'm told three weeks out for service on the west coast.
