After hiring a recruiter to find Wittys replacement, the search ended with our own internal talent. Very bold move in my opinion, solid pick.

Agree, very daring. Just when the major investors and the markets are thinking that any sane Board of Directors would go with someone from an R&D background and definitely an outsider to GSK, the BOD gives them a head fake and appoints an insider with no R&D experience. Brilliant move. #volumestrategy, #ourcareersdepend onaquafresh

The Board of Directors really needed to consult the experts on this board since they are all so knowledgeable about running the business and selecting CEO's.

Now go get me a sammich!!!!!!

With a bit of Pronamel, everything is fine
Your job is on the line
But now you get the chance...
    You are Consumer Queen, continuing
    Volumestrategy
Consumer Queen, time to beat the
    Old TAGINE...

I wonder how many people turned down the job. If she were part of the succession planning, they could have announced right away and sped up the timeline. #winning

Agree, this is about as smart as dumping the oncology portfolio for pennies.

Very good point. Epstein offered position for certain but politely declined and I'm sure there were many others. #tigerblood, #winning, #whitepillsforwesternmarkets

Epstein has talent but recognized that you can't fix stupid. Only an insider, a true believer would continue this doomed strategy.

Agree, the top talent either walked away or didn't interview. They were left with internal candidates or second-stringers from the outside. Let's give our new CEO a chance before piling on.

Agree. Emma Deserves a shot but should be on a short leash. Twit should have been gone years ago.
