I don't where the Edge RF is, but I remember asking that same question last April. Yes that's right, it was originally supposed to be launched in Q1 2015. Unreal isn't it?
The crack management team from AC arrived a sixteen months ago and the entire sales force was trained in June 2015. Advertisements were placed in AANA and the Sports Medicine Journal in May 2015. The system provides three wands and they are priced higher than the competition. No wrist or hip wands will be available. On the bright side Conmed has been booted from every GPO so it should be easy to convert S & N and Mitek accounts to the Edge.
The Edge is going to launch this month. The bad news is they are going to distribute the wands through Smith and Nephew. This is how RB sold the Arthrocare wands after AC sold the license to the patents. Good luck.
News Flash: Edge scheduled to launch 2018. Field evaluations were completed to show Wall Street Conmed can launch a product. Unfortunately the wands melted during cases and failed to ablate. Yet another failure. Also there are patent infringement issues to work out.
