Career Guidance: 5 yrs surg exp. 4 yrs of dental school,Passion for Business dev.

Hi Guys (and girls),

I need some help. I am making a lateral career move from dentistry. I need to find a non clinical job that utilizes my track record and talent in business development. I took a break from dentistry in m senior year and for the last six months I have been working on my medical device start up.

If anyone can help me or give me some guidance I would really appreciate it.

You're starting your own business or you're looking to get hired? If you're looking to get hired get a year or so of outside sales under your belt and you should b able to get into pharma.

 

I would not use medreps. The site is not good.
I find that you only send your information out to a bunch of people who want your information. I always ask who the hiring manager is, what state they are in, etc. to verify that the 'recruiter'even knows anyone at the company for which they say they are recruiting.
