With the recent market volatility, when will this acquired interest be executed?o_O

As soon as they finish gutting NPS Pharma.

We need it given our need for new products we can't produce internally. But with our stock down and Baxalta not supportive it is seeming less likely.

Plus Ludwig is smarter that Flemming. He doesn't put in idiots like PS and KK to run his business units.

Maybe Ludwig can negotiate he stays on as CEO?

o_OThe bid will increase and the deal will go thru soon around $50/share is the rumor and the stock is rising as we speak!

Thanks Flem. So will you be negotiating away their severence benefits like you did to your colleagues at Shire?

I call BS. Shire has tanked and for "in-kind" at the exchange rate originally proposed, at best it would be equivalent to around $42 a share if your dipshit CEO went up to the artificial $50 offering. See, Shire has lost over 12% since the initial offer, so anybody that would vote for this is a complete idiot. Furthermore, we at Baxalta are better off without Shire for a few reasons. First, infrastructure is much better here by 70% more in-country presence and we own. significant manufacturing for our products. BXLT is relatively lean and as the company grows with the 20 by 2020 initiative, we will easily be right sized. I already mentioned stock price and the faults with "in-kind" transactions. Finally, the $1 BLN Flem-ball is proposing is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. So, you think that you can hack jobs to save money? Well genius, we have no overlap between companies so you are going to eliminate positions from a company that is already down people from the split. I guess that means you are going to layoff your own in Mass. I really hope people wise up to this idiocy and tell Shire to go eat shite because clearly the Shire employees are already being fed it by the morons at the top.

You are an idiot. Shire will overpay for them since we are desperate. And then the "synergies" start - that is massive headcount reductions, increased quotas etc. Who do you think benefits from this. If Shire had a pipeline and could actually sell product we wouldn't be in this mess.

    Hey Troll: Sing this!
    New blood joins this earth,
    And quickly he's subdued.
    Through constant pained disgrace
The young boy learns their rules.

With time the child draws in.
    This whipping boy done wrong.
    Deprived of all his thoughts
The young man struggles on and on he's known
    A vow unto his own,
    That never from this day
    His will they'll take away.

    What I've felt,
    What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown.
    Never be.
    Never see.
Won't see what might have been.

Baxalta has a much more robust internal manufacturing infrastructure. Shire could leverage off of that and dump the HGT jokes in Lexington

If your executive team can't grow the business internally there is no other option than to be buyers, and when we pay too much the only way to make the numbers work is to cut costs and raise prices. It is an old story.

    With Baxalta:
    Nothing is easy.
    Though time gets you worrying
    my friend, it's o.k.
    Just take your life easy
    and stop all that hurrying,
    be happy my way.

    When tension starts mounting
    and you've lost count
    of the pennies you've missed,
just try hard and see why they're not worrying me,
    they're last on my list.
    Nothing's easy.

Is there a reason you continue to paste lyrics (now Jethro Tull) outside of a pathetic desire for attention?

  18. As we danced around the Shire
    We couldnt be much higher
Speed for all, let's take adddderallll
when we talk really fast in the Shire

As we pranced around the Shire
    Baxalta fell into our desire
Stock for all, but then our price started to falllll
when we bid really fast in the Shire

We need a rare disease pipeline - where else can we get it? FO is gonna chase that deal or else get exposed.

I'm half the man I used to be
This I feel as the dawn
    It fades to gray
Well, I'm half the man I used to be
This I feel as the dawn
    It fades to gray
Well, I'm half the man I used to be
This I feel as the dawn
    It fades to gray
Well, I'm half the man I used to be, half the man I used to be

    Feelin' uninspired
    Think I'll write a post
    Everybody run
B&L troll got a huge mole
    Think you're kinda neat
Then my manager tells me I'm a creep
    Friends don't mean a thing
