Noone is hitting plan and senior management has no intention on changing that. New hire moron RMs, without any understanding of the business are breathing down our neck for metrics they don't know shit about. Yeah!

It is a travesty to see what is happening to this place all over again. We are plagued with backorders, Manufacturing shortfalls, and delayed launch dates.

It hasn't been this way since CB and BH blew up Skip's fireside chat tears ago. The promise? That we would never be that disfunctional again. Well, things got better, we wemt through a difficult but effective reorg with Hercules and things were fairly good,

Now BH and CB have drifted away from the field and left a bunch of disingenuous, uninspiring leaders in their wake. Those leaders took all that was done well with Hercules and threw it out the window with the Hernia reorg. They left the field team in shock and surprise with abysmal training and a third bag to carry. FOR THE SAME COMP! or slightly more for the few supers. Then they made no adjustment to account for change fatigue or ramp up in their overzealous forecasts and trickle down quota tasking.

Combine that with the manufacturing & marketing ineptitude and there's no wonder as to why we're in crisis mode. Typical response has been to whip the horse rather than recognize that the wagon wheel has fallen off.

My only hope is that management will realize that the plan is flawed and not the executors. Fix the plan before we lose too many good field sales people and use the rest of FY17 to get the wagon fixed.... When the wagon (comp, manufacturing & marketing) is repaired we'll be here to pull just as hard as we have the last 5 years. You neglect to fix the wagon you'll end up with broken horses.

You rep commodity products that are sold according to GPO contracts. There is no room for meaningful innovation in any AST products. Adoption of robotics and reprocessing are taking share and you have no recourse. The US is saturated and focus for growth of AST products has shifted to emerging markets. Best to find a better opportunity.

So now the AST conversation turns...

Q1: How are we gonna integrate selling tackers into what we're already doing?

Q2: Nobody's making their number, backorders are awful and even though I don't sell e-stitch anymore, I'm catching all the crap from unhappy surgeons over it.

Q3: I wonder who in Sr. mgmt is gonna get fired at the end of the year?

    Q4: (To be announced later)
