    About "Jack". He didn't last!! But not because he wasn't a tough SOB!

    I heard he was full of BS like "We're taking this company to a whole new level", and "We're gonna smash through the beaurcracy". All the phony BS things that everybody says, but nobody knows how to do, or simply can't do because company policies mandate it!

    See? Bullshit and Bullshitters are everywhere. Long Live Bullshit!

    The real deal is that after all the massive cuts in recent years the creme of the crop tenured reps remain. CTL's do not like this as these reps dont need coaching. Face it, most current ctl's are in their role because of Expansions and lucky Timing many, many years ago. Today these same ctls wouldnt even be hired here, they are threatened by the very teams they lead. We need an HR intervention in field sales pronto!

    Cream of the crop reps are on auto pilot. They can do their job as most have been doing for a decade or more. Hear some have even put in double decades, now that is a feat!. Sure thing, not much coaching needed with these dream employees...guess their respective CTLs will probably wind up collecting dust in the corner....

    Its the fresh twinkles that keep CTLs in motion!.....

    Ok....so we have three rare birds. Just to clarify and state a case and point, I will refer to colleagues Bob, Dave and Jay as the 'rare birds' team as examples for arrogance, contrite, and being stupid.

    Their individual knowledge and understanding of science is a give away since they parrot what they hear and if you listen carefully they are actually clueless and avoid any deep discussion of scientific content coherently. The arrogance and contriteness is set to control to protect exposing their stupidity.

    They must parrot what they hear, anything beyond screen shot pointing at Smerck will get them fired. There is no longer science at Merck other than that one scientific approved screenshot approved by a history major in Smerck marketing.

    Arrogance and contriteness are generally opposites and seldom seen in combination.
    Surely, you must have access to an on-line thesaurus.

    And if you're referring to Jay Galeota---He could more than hold his own on the science supporting drug therapies. So please spend some time refining your vocabulary and mastering avian metaphors, because you're currently batting zilch.

    Welcome to the new world order/brave new world of sales management…

    and it is NOT going to get any better with the younger generation that were awarded gold stars for participation.

    Thankfully, I am almost done with this mess. I feel sorry for the achievers of this world, that have to put up with it.
