Agreed. Reps considering DSI should know we hired hundreds of reps since last summer only to have a significant downsizing announcement Oct 1. Very unfair to newly hired reps

 

80% downsizing is not "significant" I would say catastrophic. Fn blood bath!! Oh yea go look at the GC leaderboard majority of those people are gone if not all....

Great chain...I concur (speaking of concur, probably the only intelligent idea implemented at DSI in years, we at least have a great expense reporting systemm!!!) with all the posters on here. DSI is a bona-fide DEAD END JOB. No future. No pipeline. Simply a job and a paycheck.

Spot on, much better place today then a few months ago. 4 years in, making more than I did at BMS from the start and just got another bump and more bonus dollars at play. What sucked here was all the sales reps that did nothing but complain, it was unreal. Now it seems like they are all gone, in my area all the malcontents are out. All they did was avoid working and complain about everything, were here for years and honestly couldn't sell a thing. HTN drugs were basically being given away and we still had people struggle. If you're looking for a company that isn't afraid to take out the trash, this is that place.

*the only product DSI has and most of us know it.... Is a "sales force" of which some are very good, some are very bad, but all are happy to be happy to be employed, till somthing else comes up. That's the truth.

Asking a serious question here: what is the specialization of the specialty sales force with such a variety of products. It doesn't make sense to me. It hasn't since they announced the whole structure change. It won't be CV specialty and the products will be varied...pain? What? How can you be a specialist without a target specialty?
