Once KTE-C19 is approved and ready for launch Amgen will be spending some $$$$ to gain that product and the pipeline. Amgen is sick and tired of being called a supportive care company and needs this to help stem that perception and to get up to speed with the big oncology players like BMS and Genentech.
No matter how good the asset is, Amgen will F it up. Look how they messed up Kyprolis. Amgen is the coach who couldn't win even if they had Michael Jordan, Kobe, and Lebron playing on the same team.
