Beautiful Saturday Morning and Alcon Australia still isn't fixed, it will be a very long time

 

all other regions are having fun from the Asia posts and I don't blame them. They need to live our lives to realize the frustration....
We have a regional president who is like a fish out of water even after 2 years in surgical business.
We have a regional CFO who is clueless about P&L and has no idea about compliance btw, refer to Korea as an example
The HR head has the worst leadership retention performance ever seen in the region and if you exclude the stability in Phaco development teams to see only commercial teams the picture is terrible

We have a medical affairs head who for 2 years hasn't had 1 meaningful activity or knows even 1 good KOL in the region on top of it he doesnt even know our products and rumor is that he is paid a million $ a year

We have a franchise head who is birthed physically nor mentally present in every meeting he attends be it with doctors or team members. His only job is forward emails from global and the other way around.
And yes he is doing China... what God knows ?

HR has been Pathetic for years.....They have been only couriers for Upper management who do ot add any value. too slimy to be held..... one enjoys her so called business trip to countries showing all the great time she had including food had in star hotels and some others who are entrenched in Area/countries like Asia , India. Australia,China, Korea etc who nothing but play behind the back of employees and make their life miserable.... NO originality no concern for employees , only safe guarding their backs... How can things ever change in Novartis!!!

 

Please do not complain about India HR we have an excellent team and we are proud of the same.

 

The parking situation sucks balls. No company in Sydney expects their people to be forced to car pool of only have 3 days per week.
