Stop your unfair assault on the Schechter boys. Born as Siamese twins they still count as a single hire - they were not separated until the age of 10. It would be cruel to separate the boys from seeing each other throughout the day. Please you do not understand why compassion for separated Siamese twins is necessary. Show that you care, Adam needs a hug.

Quick question Merkies do you think David Schechter, Adam's brother will be impacted by the 2015 lay off announcement?

Yes David has noticed a sharp pain in his side from laughing continuously as he and Adam play "pin the termination on the donkey"...be nice or you get to be the donkey

Shame on merck for allowing this to go on for decades now. Adam is exactly where he should be with merck. Adam is smart and has a good heart. Dave has been a bully since joining merck. Dave knew he had not only his bro, but Bob McMahon to fall back on. This was not fair to anyone who was in Dave's way at merck. Dave took advantage of this, like most people would. Dave and Bob McMahon greatest skill is being a bully. Lucky for them, they had merck to protect them. They were bullies because of their job titles at Merck. Stand up to these two without Merck behind them, they are the biggest cowards ever. Cop caller in 2.3 seconds over a fist fight. Bob McMahon had zero selling skills and an awful personalitie. Bob McMahon was a geek, who tried to be cool. What was Merck thinking giving McMahon that kind of power to abuse. All the best to Adam. Smart guy who is a good person, and treats people right.

Good family values brother helping brother. Their parents planned and trained them well. We should be proud of these two brothers serving as great role models.

Hello? What doesn't smell of corrupt here? No ethically, publicly owned company has 2 brothers in executive positions, with only 1 person in the reporting structure between the 2 of them. The poor bastard between the 2. Talk about being in between a rock & a hard place! Having the Schecter boys is a sign of the middle finger to the hard working peon employees at merck who can't advance on good, solid, work ethic alone.

Hey, how many more launch failures before someone holds these brothers accountable for their failures?

The brothers keep on rocking, making lots of money and are good at creating misery for the rest of us. just imagine a univ of delaware c+ school in economics is running a flagship global brand which is going south. such nepotism can only happen at merck.

Agree it is time to promote Dave again for great job in growing Januvia/Janumet. The brother make a good team.

This is an excellent idea lets give Dave another promotion (for what?) since performance does not matter in his case. Remember it is all about keeping his brother Adam content and happy so we are not victims to collateral damage.
