Attention Abbott Retirees - the Abbott Retirement Club (ARC) is still recruiting new members. The annual cost is $10 which includes spouses. Reconnect with old acquaintances and make new friends. Enjoy a comprehensive bi-monthly newsletter. Many planned activities scheduled throughout the course of the year.

    Hmm, sounds interesting!

Are there different membership levels? Like this:
    1. "Diamond" if you managed made it to 55 (or higher), and retired "unprompted"
    2. "Platinum" if you made to, or got bridged to, 55, before you got "downsized"
    3. "Gold" if you chose retirement (Option A) over a PIP (Option B)
    4. "Silver" if you chose Option B and were PIP'd out?
    5. "Bronze" if they got you before 55 by suddenly discovering a termination offense, like missing a training module, or accidentally have a Twinkie on your gas receipt

Yes, I like that. Lead! Just for fun, let's list all the reasons we have known people to be fired for cause. Would love to hear your examples!

If slacking was a reason to terminate someone, there wouldn't be any managers around to fire workers for slacking LOL
