Oh no, you just missed it! We're hiring 300 sales reps and managers to sell Libre. Call the main number in Alameda and ask for HR. You might be able to slip in under the wire.

Reps start at $90-$110k; DM's at $120k. Plus bonus, profit sharing, 401k match. Unusual for pharma, no science degree is needed. Just any BA degree. And we prefer no actual CPG or pharma sales experience.

Your numbers are inflated by 10-15k. Only the unemployed reps or the under paid reps will be targeted for the expansion positions.

What is the sales volume on the Libre? I know ADC can't keep up with the demand.

How many positions will be included in the expansion and what is the time line?

12-15 Key Account positions will be added mostly in the major market cities. The talk was initially in the Oct timeframe but now looking more like Jan.

These is no expansion. That's just more Dunky disinformation. The business continues to decline, and new products in the pipeline. ABT has been looking to dump this Division for a few years now. The only remarkable thing on jobs at ADC is that this the first year we have not had a big layoff. Probably because we are so few now, one more cut and we're all gone.

I'm hoping to get another couple of years out of this dysfunctional mess and then have a long rest. How about you?

We don't have that kind of time. The Libre test in Europe is about done. If the buyer does not like the results, they will back out, and Miles will have no choice but go to plan B: sell the brand name, and dump the physical assets. If that's still even an option now. Regardless, we gonna be expendable, overhead to be cut, with maybe a hand full of us make it into whomever buys this pig.

I got out after a little more than 12 years with ABT. ADC started off ok...not so good now. Libre will buy some time for those who remain. If they are smart the will start to zip out the resumes. ADC won't last much longer. This division is on its third VP in 14 months. Speaks volumes.

When does the pig go to slaughter? This talk about selling ADC started back in 2009. Bayer was going to buy us. Now Bayer diabetes belongs to Panasoinc.

Hope we get a good package.

The sales force expansion has also been talked about for the last few years.

That does not make much sense. Two years ago ADC laid off 200 and most were in sales and marketing.

Classic propaganda from ADC. Straight from Obama's playbook. Dunky plants rumors of expansion and new uber-products, but the action has been layoffs every year.

There is a new product that was thought up three years ago and still has not seen the light of day. Why? Because of ADC politics and layoffs. Any other company whould have had prototypes two years ago.

Given that Google and DexCom have joined forces to make the ultimate cheap CGM system ADC by this very fact has lost. It might be ahead now but it simply cannot compete againest companies like these due to the very nature and structure of ADC/Abbott.

So, what does ADC do? Talk. Not much future here.
