Don't know too much, but have applied. 79 (or so) reps with 7 DM's. calling on specialists and territories will likely be large based on posted rep locations in my area and size of sales force. Wish I knew more as well.
would somebody please explain the qualification stated under job posting: "ABILITY TO HANDLE AMBIGUITY WHILE COMPLIANTLY DRIVING RESULTS" what the heck does that mean?!
they're also citing "advanced degree" as a preference, so this must be something involved and not the run of the mill contract?
An obvious reference to the fact that this company still can't figure out who they are: Innovex - Novaquest - Quintiles? - so in order to be an effective sales rep out in the field, one needs to handle all the AMBIGUITY!!
FYI... The company who is contracting with Quintiles determines the required criteria for hiring eligibilty, so NO, the ambiguity reference has nothing to do with Quintiles (previously Innovex/Novaquest). Perhaps this is your attempt at sarcasm due to a previously poor experience at Quintiles, perhaps not, but it doesn't help to further confuse those not familiar with Q. The ambiguity wording (regardless of how unclear) was written by the company promoting the drug, and should only be evaluated from that perspective.
your defensive post begs the question: is this even an FDA approved pharmaceutical or perhaps some ridiculous nutritional supplement?!
Sounds like a Janssen contract. They are having their pain pills (nucynta and nucynta er) sold exclusively by quintiles. This should be considered a good thing because working under Janssen and their paranoid/fucked up managers and reps is hell. Plus, milking that mileage reimbursement for an additional 12k a year after expenses and considering it's all tax free!
