Right now your manager has probably ramp up his/her activities. For some reason these zombies think they will be saved at the last minute. In the end there out too.

 

The site by the phone date will be given out, when it's time to give it out. It's a closely guarded secret. It will not be leaked. If you have to keep asking your missing the point. August, September or october. Doesn't matter. Sit down and put a plan in place. 1 for if you stay 1 for if you leave.

Yes the ones let go are not only lucky but they are also the smart ones from Alcon whom Novartis has clinically removed over the years.
Though not smart but can we please have the Asia regional leadership go for a start. The dick head in the name of regional president is a joke as are his cronies RL and FC.

Please check with the teams and just look at his modus operandi consistently he will take a market drop all numbers forecast and sales in year 1 citing legal/compliance issues and blaming it on legacy.
Second year automatically there is growth and he will claim success and turn around and interesting is that the same compliance issues in year 1 become key drivers in year 2 ... Midas touch of the spaniard isn't it ?

Mike please save Alcon... Give us an antidote to destroy the Pharma virus in Alcon device business carried by these pests.

Op...home office and support people cut 1st. Then sales. Territories get larger, I mean really big. Smaller number of reps but you will be expected to hit the number of two or 3 people. Then another cut same time next year. This is how the it went when general meds went Thursday a big change.

Op. Some really hard working people will be let go and others will not so good reputation will be kept. Alot of variables will go into who stays and who goes. So don't get down if you are cut. Most likely it was a profit and loss based. Tenure will help if you have good #s

There will be no layoffs. You have some here claiming that management never knows the layoff date until the day prior but yet they are also giving a date of July 14th.

July 14th at noon. Field sales. OR Aug 19th at noon. OR no layoffs at all. OR today, everybody.

 

When nothing happens on July 14th they will just give another date.

 

Yes, they will give you 30 to 40 day heads up that changes are coming. Sometimes on a call sometimes via email. Sometimes both. They will out lines the changes and say....as a result, some will be displaced.
