40% Alcon Sales Force Laid off Oct 31

Heard that 40% of Alcon Sales Force will be laid off Oct 31. Does anyone know if this is true?

in august, approx 90 sales positions were cut in our dvision.
see has a hiring freeze
logic tells us they are next.
between the 2 cuts, it is likely to be 40 percent or more

 

will this impact inside sales too?

 

Don't know about that but there is definitely something happening. A lot of manager meetings are booked on that very day.

100% possible this information may or may not be true. Inside sales may be affected and some other divisions as well. Or not.

 

The oracle said that Alcon is crewed...it's going under fast unless there is a knight on a white horse or a catchup man bearing gifts....

i doubt the date on this is true yet from what i hear the analysis on SEE was just recently completed. The timing would match up sometime this fall or early 17
