    Douchiness
    n. - doo-schee-nehss - The quality of being a douche or douche bag; used when an act is flagrantly lame or reconfirms an already existing suspicion that an entity has douche-like attributes; typical of a person or thing that doesn't command respect.

    The original post referred to the stock price. Ask yourself why the price is so low. The answer is rooted in the following;

    1. Senior leaders who do not know how to lead. Believe I have seen many come and go and they were all the same -- "it's all about them".
    2. Senior leadership who promotes those who agree with the status quo. So many have been promoted without regard to whether they were fit enough to actually lead people. Yep I have plenty of those jackasses along the with. Self centered frauds!
    3. Multiple million and billion $ fraud charges caused by -- you guessed it - poor senior leadership that put policies in place that created an unbridled corrupt operating environment. Hmmm I bet those senior leaders raked in millions on their bonuses!
    4. Products that are not differentiating (I'm being kind with my description). Anybody remember Raxar ... what a joke.
    5. A sales force that sells based on sampling and lunches etc. very few can hold an academic discussion based on scientific understanding. Functional millennial dumbasses. Bare in mind I'm not insulting everyone here, but if the shoe fits you own it!
    6. An HR department that enforces guidelines, policies, and rules with ruthless abandonment. A socialistic garden of eden. How's that working out.

The only thing holding the stock price up was great dividend payments. However the company will continue to stay on the first level of hell .... limbo - for you illiterate fools is the first level of Dante's Hell. Limbo actually is a fitting description of GSK don't you think?

So what to do? Hmmm let me think. If you work for GSK you need to quit. Do it now or continue to sell your soul to the devil's deal of making $ while your soul drowns in the muck of complacency.

If you own the stock - hold and collect the dividends and wait for company to be sold.

Fortunately for me I'm in the second group as i didn't want to dwell on the first ring of he any longer.

    Merry Christmas

    Wow, Nailed it. Nice job.

Would you say that the hiring of Emma is the epitome of perpetuating the status quo.

Stocks are low because sales people have low sales skills. Period. Don't blame others millennial.

I'll say this as I mentioned on other threads, the company sales force is very old. Look this up on the matrix search for yourself, the field average age is close to 45-50.

The only younger reps were hired in asthma in 2014 due to patient first and the culture behind it. There is only a handful under 30 here. I challenge anyone to find me any other division where the age is not pushing senior discounts.

One problem I see is that we haven't adapted to many common sense ways. Everyone thinks this is 1998 and HCP have 20 min and days off to do things the "old way", they want to know 1. Is it covered and 2. Is it better than the last drug and 3. Can you feed me or spit the message out in 30 seconds.

Wise move. The "Street" is wary of GSK but the smart money sees the stock trading at $65 by July 2017. I'm putting all my money into GSK stock.

I am retiring from sales next year if I make it. I have 37 years with the company, and never have seen anyone buy GSK stock. Never.
