You can thank the ball busting Leader, Jan Nissan for the never ending nagging of R&F. She came from the hospital group and that's all she preaches. Disgusting!

We have done so poorly with Pneu 23 over the years (sole ownership of the over 18 y o a market) that we now have our rears handed to us by PVC13... I feel as though I have been sold a bill of goods by Merck (my employer) there is no data for some of our current indications....ACIP will be telling this month....

1/2 the year is almost over, we should be getting our annual sales objective soon. Well planned...

Isn't it funny how management is always all over the reps about having a plan for every account and having a plan for everything the reps' do on the job but their sales plan for us is a half year behind? What a bunch of hypocritical and incompetent jackasses!

Merck vaccine reps used to be well respected by providers but now that management forces Merck reps to be so pushy and aggressive they are starting to roll their eyes when they see us. Management has ruined a good division. We have excellent products but crappy management!

Newsflash, the whole nation of reps is faking calls just so management will shut up. Half the customers in the database are not worth calling on and some big vaccine using customers haven't been flagged. Nice job Pennsylvania Prick Partners. Such a joke.

P23 has been out over 30 years and Merck waited until the very last minute to defend it against P13. The P23 marketing team has done very little to help defend the brand either. Now these Marketing people are going around to large cities and riding with reps so they can criticize and blame the reps for losing so much business. Why hasn't anything been done to fix reimbursement? That's the main reason we are getting out butts kicked.

You may be right. Gardasil 9 will already have been out 3 years and if we get the hexavalent Vaccine soon, Merck will start downsizing after a year or so after that launch.

Looks like the hexavalent Vaccine is delayed so we will be nagged to death my management to sell this dud Vaccine, Lostavax in the Fall instead launching another pediatric vaccine.

You have been selling pneumovax for decades and yet in one year Pfizer has grown the market and taken over. You can blame it on marketing or simply try working more than 3 hours a day and buff up your selling skills. Have some pride. I used to be proud to be in vaccines but now its all whiny lazy reps who dont make numbers but are great at making excuses. No wonder the new pharma hires are outselling your asses. PS. The new broad has a set and is not afraid to clean house. You dont even realize it but you are building a good case for a full replacement with a contract sales team.

Get off your high horse jackass! Before P13, nobody was really selling P23 at Merck. All you had to do was get hospitals on GPO contracts and pitch to the pharmacy buyers to buy it in the Fall. We were the only game in town and the product was a seasonal vaccine.

Pfizer has one damn vaccine to sell and Merck has a dozen with the biggest priority being Lostavax and G9. You can't beat P13's higher reimbursement rate with a lame marketing message or hold on to high market share when Merck has several vaccines to focus on versus Pfizer's sales force who focuses totally on one vaccine with their muddying the waters with their lies to customers indicating you can give P13 to everybody too. Go screw yourself "Mr. or Mrs. Holier than Thou Martyr "!

That's because management is insane. Insanity is doing the same thing over again expecting a different outcome. We are doomed!

Since the invasion of 2005. 10 years of micromanagement, rep to rep backstabbing because of forced ranking and more time wasted creating useless business plans rather than building customer relationships. Guilting a customer into buying more doses is less effective than building customer trust to persuade them its in their best interest to use more doses. There is a difference.

Yes, it is rep to rep backstabbing. My CDL only wants to hear created stories and no sales performance. He's new, one Year, he has send more reaching frequency, RFM, EFM reports. He sent two sales reports this year..... We're not a sales organization any more in our district... Sad he loves to fear the women blow smoke at him.... Sad ...

This is what happens when type A backstabbing yes folks hire more type A backstabbing yes folks. We are now in a corrupt organization that doesn't question the absurd but embraces the counterintuitive nonsense of the controlling idiots in management who spent little time understanding sales and more time backstabbing their way up the corporate ladder.

Forced rankings and district objectives have ensured backstabbing will be encouraged at Merck for a long time.

The dying tablet sales model of reach and frequency and the aggressive interrogation approach to make customers feel bad about not using enough of our products will destroy the vaccine division just like it did USHH.
