It is very quiet here

It has gradually been getting very quiet here. The optomism that never should have been for Aptiom is now gone. Remember Happy?

While it is quiet, nothing has or will improve. Reps are resigned to their careers here and the money is not bad. Keep cashing those paychecks and ignore the low bonuses and unreasonable metrics.

It is like cruise control while driving 15 miles per hour.

The only problem with "quiet" and "cruise control" is that when you product is underperforming so badly they usually start chopping people. And the history here is they don't just chop a little. It's stealth. It's quick. It is relentless. Ask any former Summit team members. Ask any ex Zetonna reps. Ask any ex Lunesta reps. We are living on borrowed time here.

Cruz control off a cliff! Meanwhile our HQ leaders have guaranteed contracts so they stay on till bitter end, rest of us screwed

Agree w prior poster, DSP/Sunovion cuts quickly and completely. The history is there and those who are not looking to leave are foolish. Expect management to promote the all is great culture. DSP needs you to sell Aptiom, and other drugs, right up until they do not.

This is the equivalent of a contract sales job without the contract.

Lunesta reps got over 6 months notice that they would be let go fuckwad

Lunesta reps got 6 months lead time as they were selling a blockbuster drug that was going generic. They were let go in a strategic move to maximize profits before the drug went generic. Sounds exactly like the situation with Aptiom to me.

love the name calling. It really emphasizes your point.

Both Summitt and Lunesta team had meds going off patent so nice try. You guys can't sell and will likely get what's coming to you.

I love how Aptiom reps making doctors in huge offices speakers. Reminds me of the old days of big pharma. Sunovion continues to steep to new lows.

Right, because Sunovion is the first and only company to ever make high value prescribers speakers... Sounds like someone is getting their ass kicked by the Aptiom rep.

It was anything but quiet at the home office on Friday. The cafe served some bad sushi and several members of sales and training were quite sick. The screams and smell coming from the 2nd floor men's restroom will haunt me for years . When DSP settles for less than fresh sushi, I think we all can see that we are on borrowed time. On a side note, get well G-man. Heard your double portion of the tuna sashimi hit you harder than the rest.

No but it is one of the only companies to mismanage speakers. Sunovion mismanaged speakers since launch. Dr. Benbadis as an example was an original Aptiom speaker. He participated in the national launch webcast. As of the first 6 months he had not written 1 script.

And, laughably, no one is getting their ass kicked by an Aptiom rep, unless you are a rep in lower Manhattan. Seeing the numbers on a national basis, the comment is laughable. A less than 2% market share does not strike fear into anyone except Sunovion employees, DSP employees, investors etc.

FYI DSP stock, on Tokyo Stock Exchange:

    3/11/14 1890
    6/2/14 1110
    2/6/15 1240

stock drops byapprox 33% in one year.

    in Reuters (analysis 2/6/15)

    Outperform 1
    Buy 0
    Hold 4
    Underform 3
    Sell 2

do not bother yourself with the facts, you know better and that everthing is going to be ok.

I can testify to that. Former Summit Team member. Out of the blue and relentless. 15 minute call to notify us that we were all let go. Just before Christmas and two weeks after we were all told we'd be fine and have a long runway to get things back on track. When they start saying stuff like that you know you are in trouble.

Uh Oh. I heard Japan is very upset about the numbers and product trend lines and are coming in to kick ass and have a sit down with the entire executive leadership team in March. Also heard home office now scrambling. Could you home office people elaborate?

Sadly for Sunovion, when you have so many holes in the ship, you can only plug so many before the ship finally sinks. The end is near so enjoy yourself while you can. Congrats SG! Smart move!!!
