novartis has the highest turn over rate in the industry. several reps left our pharma co only to come back; hated Novartis. small minded mgt in most cases. novartis has a few good mgrs but very few. great products but corporate culture is horrible; its a "gotcha" mentality and a suck ass mgt philosophy. Can't tell you how happy I am since I left.

I joined this year--I hate it. This place is a mess. VERY DISORGANIZED COMPANY! They will lure you in with $$$ and promises, but this place is hollow and empty--culture? What culture? Diovan is boring as hell to sell and the new products are not that exciting (can you say me-too drugs?). Go to a smaller company--I am ASAP!

Problems, I was in a office in bristol and in va and the docs were bitiching to me about a ex novartis rep that sold anti fungal foot crap. who is this dork! and what is his problem?

There are more than a few of us who love Novartis. More work than some companies, but I guess I'm one of the lucky ones because my manager is great and I make more Money than anyone else I've talked to in the industry. Glad to be here and glad a lot of people are leaving! Good luck! Hope you find something outside the industry so you don't bring down the rest of us! Who are you going to work for in the industry and not constantly be looking over your shoulder? Better find a big pipeline and a company with a lot of CASH on the balance sheet.

Security. That is one word we do not have at Novartis or any big pharma company. I seriously doubt you make that much money. When I was hired by Novartis my new DM was blown away by the size of my bonus payouts in small pharma. Why? Becuase they never see big bonuses! You NEVER make great bonus with big companies and the salaries are comparable with small pharma. After a few crappy payouts I am gone soon--back to a smaller, stable, realistic situation. Another thing, could there be anymore reps out in the field? Honest to god--I see a stinking Novartis rep on almost every fucking call!

You're an idiot...I did 26,000 first quarter this year with GSK and will probably close the year at 50k total...you don't see big bonuses with big pharma if you can't sell and you're a nub like you.

Had to type in and agree. 3 years w/ company, award winner and then let go. Their products are all me twos. Training sucks, pay ok, but watch out those of you w/ high bases or options ready to cash in....I've have learned thats when the hammer falls. They are swiss fuck heads and the docs know it. Can never even get their drugs published in an american peer reviewed journal. That is/was the embarrassing part also. Look at any career job website. The two big players listed are always AZ and Novartis. How embarrassing. It is clear the turnover is high and no one wants to work there except the non talent and complacent. Oh by the way Go Prexige!
