You provided target lists to us a week ago. In most cases from what I am hearing from fellow managers and reps that the lists are not complimentary to what you are asking of us. You want 5 calls per day with a list of 85 docs where 80% plus are no see In many cases. You don't want us to lie. Yet you will punish us if this criteria is not met. So what should we do? The lists are so off and inaccurate yet you are holding everyone to the same standard.

This is true but it doesn't matter. In their eyes that 80% that is no-see is not no-see. You get paid to create access to these doctors. If you can't, then you aren't good. They don't respect the fact that these clinics and hospitals have no see policies set by their management.
We have internal policies too and can you imagine if someone tried to get us to violate them for their own gain? If I worked at these clinics I would shut us out too. If you don't want to lie or "redefine the definition of a call" to include even thinking about going to the clinic then get out now. It's only going to get worse. Bottom line...become a liar or get out. Management doesn't want to hear your nagging because without you lying they wouldn't have their cushy bs jobs either.

I refuse and I mean REFUSE to talk to my medically trained specialist doctors like they are dumb asses concerning HF. I will basically go in begging for mercy. This just shows they don't get it at all!!

Do you also refuse and I mean REFUSE the money you are being paid to do it? Since that is all we have to do right now it means you are doing nothing.

So you are saying we should talk to medical doctors like they are idiots?!

I'm saying that we already do that.
If you were an MD, how seriously would you take some clown that walks into your office with a suit on or a dress with sunglasses and an expensive handbag and is trying to influence you on how to treat your patients. Not to mention the fact that they are fully aware that any information that we give them is approved by or actually produced by our company and therefore is 100% biased.
I would estimate that maybe 5% of the reps out there that I have seen are actually qualified to do this job.
So, do whatever you want to do. I would prefer just to keep on fabricating calls and hope that they read something good about our drug from some other source and use it so I can take the credit for it because it is just as effective as actually working.
