Am I the only rep insulted by the fact that we just hit a billion $$ and our leaders bring up the marketing team to thank??? Are you serious? Half of them are new to the company. You couldn't at least have one of us reps there that launched the product???? Typical Novartis culture, treat the salesforce as the red headed step children even though they are the ones bringing in the $$$. Novartis better be prepared when AZ, Teva and GSK start their hiring process.
OMG, yes. Sad and scary that not one leader in corporate thought to have a manager or rep in house that launched Xolair. NONE of those marketing people launched Xolair. Instead of trying to come up with a bonus plan to screw the reps, harrassing us on metrics, working your "women in leadership" hobbies, our leader should start to treat us reps like a billion dollars or like Genentech reps. Agree, reps did seem important and happier under Jesus's leadership.
Our Cornerstone status/bonus would still be around if Jesus was here!!!!he would have fought for us reps
When did they take away Cornerstone? Still had it this year in Primary Care. Wonder if that's going to go away for everyone?
Sad to hear that. i am one of the guys launching Xolair and doing the initial messaging work. N one of that team is still with Novartis, we are all in good positions in other companies. Good to hear that you hit the Bln. Well done Sales Force, this has been a complicated one for you!
That town hall was just an internal meeting that the field called in to hear. Everything is canned and set up- Nothing was real....stop wasting out time- 1 billion means so much to them, what about the field??
They will ultimately get promoted, while the sales team will get the pink slip when thir use is done!
Yes, we are fortunate to have a position, but that doesn't mean corporate shouldn't be accountable for their stupid decisions. "Lucky to have a job" is nothing more than demotivating to all of us.
Seriously. More than 11 years, no expectations, few territory changes, help from Genentech and, the big elephant in the room, NO COMPETITION, and we're supposed to be impressed you fispecialistst a billion? Not even worth a Starbucks card when less than 25% of specialists have yet to prescribe a mature drug, especially when there's NEVER BEEN ANY COMPETITION!
