Who even handles contracting strategy in Marlborough?

The same people in managed markets who claim aptiom has equal formulary restriction status at most plans compared to Vimpat. It doesn't!!

Managed Markets will be contracting aptiom anywhere they can starting the end of this month. New strategy. Coming out hard and deep as a last ditch effort to keep the product from being pulled. Contact you AD's and let them know where you need help and where Aptiom is in a less favorable restriction tier than Vimpat.

Thanks pissed off Brovana rep. I'm very sure you will be able to do what we havent given your own product's sales are so stellar. And I'm also quite certain that you are woven into the fibers of Sunovion so much that Japan is calling you to let you know just how fed up they are.
    Just stfu grandpa.

Brovan for yo' mama rep here. So, our training for Aptiom was kind of half assed. Spoke with one of the Aptiom reps I overlay with and is it true that Aptiom has the same exact 3 active metabolites of Oxcarb? She told me the doc's throw that at her and she has no real evidence to dispute it. How come they didn't cover that in training??

This product is even worse than brovana to promote. At least brovana has some good data behind it. What the heck is this company thinking? I'm just not going to promote it. I'll lie about the calls.

This entire company is an embarrassment! No strategy at all, why would they have us going to long term facilities, what is the point when we can't even get the specialists to prescribe this crap? Is this Jack's fatal move or the G-man's?

Spoke with my Regional Account Director about a plan where Aptiom is PA'd and Vimpat is T2 unrestricted to see if there is anything we can do to at least get the PA moved to a ST. He told me they are busy using the new defensive decks for Latuda with their accounts and does not have time to devote to Aptiom right now. What a slap in the face.

Hey management! How about a little help out here. I you keep treating Aptiom like the red headed step child you will keep getting the same anemic results.

LOL! I can't even get my managed care guy to call me back about some aptiom coverage questions I have. It's clear we are out here on our own. No help from the account directors anyway.

You're on your own. There will be no managed care push. Managed Care team may soon be reorganized after the Abilify LOE. This place is in a slow death spiral. The only thing keeping it going is Latuda. Last ditch effort to buy a product is the only hope. Aptiom is a drag on Sunovion and I can't imagine they will allow it to continue for much longer. They sure aren't throwing any resources at it. Quite the contrary.

Aptiom managed care coverage is getting worse!! So many hoops to jump through in Minnesota at almost all the plans while Vimpat has no restrictions at almost all the plans. Wellmark is impossible to get an Aptiom script covered and Vimpat goes through easily.

Florida coverage is also really bad for Aptiom and Kentucky it is game over. Vimpat sails right through in Kentucky and Aptiom must be close to NDC blocked.

I am so sick and tired of them telling us we have parity restriction access for Aptiom when compared to Vimpat. Look at Kentucky, Look at 3 of the 4 big plans in Minnesota and Look at Wellmark the biggest plan in all of Iowa. It's a hoot that they say we have parity restriction access. Liars!!

I checked you information above out on fingertip. You are right. Can't argue it. Aptiom is hugely disadvantaged compared to Vimpat at 3 of the 4 biggest plans in MN (PA or NDC blocked vs Vimpat unrestricted T3 or T4) and wellmark aptiom is not covered and vimpat is preferred unrestricted. That's not parity access or parity restriction access. Kentucky coverage is pathetic and the southeast is pretty back too. How is coverage in northeast compared to vimpat?

The northeast is worse. PA has a triple step edit for some plans where generic Trileptal is part of the edit. Try explaining that to a physician after you told them that Aptiom is not the same as Trileptal . Good luck getting Aptiom approved on most plans in PA.

CT, MA, well it is MA and CT so coverage is always a problem. NY is surprisingly not too bad.

I think we are seeing improvements in access. It's not that bad if you know how to manage your Accounts

Yes, blame the reps for the bad managed care coverage for Aptiom. They do not know how to manage their accounts. Thanks I have not seen a blame the reps e-mail for months.

As an Aptiom rep I am going to blame the managed care people for my poor call metrics. Makes about as much sense.

Hey. Hows about we actually tell the truth here. Aptiom is a terrible product that physicians don't want to write and see no benefit in using except as a last line product after almost everything else has failed. Maybe that why our call metrics suck. No offices want to see us to talk about CRAPTIOM or even get samples. That's why call metrics are low. Except for those that are faking and we know most are. I can see why many of us have given up. I take days during the week because I just cant handle the continued rejection.

I think managed care team is doing what they can with the big limitations that contracting dept has put on them. They don't have a single contract other than silverscrip from what I am told. They'd like to contract but can't because of contracting policy and strategy. No contracts.

Even with the improving anemic growth I'm sure it they can't support so many of us making such big base salaries. Should be interesting to see if they backfill the positions of all the recent Aptiom specialists that have resigned in the past few weeks. That will be quite telling.

Ya we all be laughing when they tell us we have adequate formulary coverage and we are the same "restriction status" as Vimpat. We clearly are not at same status and what is so funny is they think we are stupid enough to believe them when we work in the class. How ignorant can they be? Do they expect us to believe that just cuz they keep saying it over and over. No wonder morale is so low.

Please stay off the Sunovion board with your posts about Aptiom. Go to you own company board to rant about your products. Thanks and please leave us alone.
