How does it work if I was get go and hired back?

    I was let go during a layoff and hired back later. How does it work in looking at my ratings and tenure? Real answers please. No jerks.

    Your given a 2 ,2 for any missing review years they are using for mapping.

    I don't have the same situation but I was with novartis 5 years, left for two and then came back. Have been here 2 years this last round. Will they count my tenure as 7 years or 2?

    So my severance would be 2 years. My hr person led me to believe those other years would count.

    Seriously, you're going to cafepharma for an answer to this question? Go with whatever HR tells you. Typically most companies will count all of your years of service.

    It was asked and answered on the con call we had last month. Only current years of service. Not total.
