Any of you who think preference will really be given to internal candidates need to wake up and focus your search externally

I think preference just means that the displaced NP people will get the minimum of a phone screen. Nothing guaranteed beyond that.

One of the managers that interviewed for an ABL spot had multiple President's Club awards as a Hospital ABL, had extensive CV experience and solid relationships with all the key KOLs. She did not even make it to a live interview, just the Montage. She was beat out by a cronie with zero CV experience. Interestingly, I was the 3rd internal to withdraw my name from consideration in one week. Even the specialists that mapped to CV positions need to recognize that they are only on probation & undergo intense scrutiny. I have no desire to be part of a division that focuses 3/4 of their interview process on "how aggressively can you manage people out?"

Ain't that the truth. I fell violated from this SH!t can company. Tired of them dangling the carrot in front of us with all the false promises. I'd like to put my foot of their arse.

So you mean to tell me that the Cronie with zero cv experience got the job because "they are aggressive about managing people out" rather than having the knowledge to help a team successfully launch what NPC believes to be their next blockbuster. So what is NPC going to do? Fire 3/4 of the current cv sales force? That makes a lot of sense.

Man I hope this isn't what they are doing. Talk about a company shooting themselves in the foot. It would be a very unwise decision to get rid of or "manage out" a substantial number of people after training them when a majority of them are tenured for a reason. Yeah let's just manage out good people so we can hire someone else who we aren't sure could do the job well since anyone can fluff a resume and lie during interviews. What a stupid move that would be. Company is much better off investing in their people. That's when a company sees good performance is when a employee feels valued and not standing On a table everyday with a rope around the neck waiting for incompetent leadership to kick the table out from under them. Sad.

Who actually believes they are going to "manage out" all these people? How would they do that exactly? The training program is going to be the same for everyone and if you can't hack it then you could be done. How often does that really happen though? I know of about three people total in all of my years doing this that have actually failed in training. If you do the modules and have a decent memory for the oral exams, you are fine.
    It isn't that hard people.

When do we do the official oral boards?

I certainly hope you are right, however, CV is "not" the Novartis of the past. How many Novartis ABLs with years of stellar performance in CV comprise the new leadership team? 10%? When the company demonstrates a total lack of confidence in the ABLs- that recruited, hired, trained and develop this sales team, why would you expect them to have any confidence in the sales specialists themselves.

You have until your actual severance date, not your release date. Just make sure you don't sign your severance letter before then. Also, recognize the fact that you are off the Novartis network at release so make sure you have alternate plans.

But I won a presidents club award selling Fanapt. I have skills. How come they won't hire me? I increased my volume from 4 to 8. 100% growth! I'll do the same with the term drug or the heart failure drug. I have skills!

We have until the severance date but are they going to take our cars, ipads, etc. and then just replace them if we are selected?
Doesn't seem to make sense to take all of our stuff then just give it back if we are hired into a cv role a couple of weeks later.

I cannot believe that you people would choose to continue to circle the drain with this shithole of a company.
