The above post #264 really is a numbers driven guy. Glad to see someone takes their job seriously.

My goal in 2014 is to take 30 weeks vacation

I challenge everyone to do this and see if it really matters with the sales number.

This is how I will achieve this.

4 weeks vacation which includes Xmas week
work 16 hours a week maximum. This is a free 24 hours a week which adds to vacation,

    24 hours x 48 weeks = 28 weeks vacation.

there will be 2 weeks of meetings

so 26 weeks plus 4 weeks = 30 weeks vacation plus other holidays off.

$140,000 for working 22 weeks a year, Not bad . Can you take more vacation than me without going out on disability. Did I mention I hate Novartis

Drive to the doc's office, sit in the waiting room, fake the call, leave.

geez, have some confidence. its much easier to just do your job. don't be like those reps that don't smile and don't appreciate working for such a terrible industry. you choose this job and you got suckered into it. if you don't like it, then network out of it. there are better industries out there that don't track you like this. pharma. is tough to leave because it is so easily, yet so difficult because of the terrible people you have to deal with, within the organization, and as we know, the office truly can't stand over 90 percent of the reps they deal with, face it, reps are strange.

It has nothing to with smiling or personality. Docs don't care about what we have to say and don't trust us when we say it.

As if you have a choice 90+% of offices will not give you "detail" time
even if you drop samples & donutz the best you can hope for is a hello
