whats the official start date? Heard from some that got hired 4/3, but PO called and said I'm still in running. I know I'm obviously backup plan, just trying to figure whether to withdraw. Thanks.

 

must be otsuka that gave a counter offer. folks quite at the National Sales meeting and HR and RDs wanted them to stick around to give counter offers.

start date is 4/3 for some and later for others depending on offer date. Agree that PO and neurocrine haven't been forthcoming with the candidates and have strung some along. Totally inconsiderate. I'm sure many people that got early offers either backed out or got other jobs along the way. Process was ridiculous.

 

Was told by p1, this was the week that all remaining offers will be made.

 

I hope they have to go to their backups in some cases and they all tell them to go fuck themselves!

 

I don't understand what everyone is so angry about? I assume a lot of people who interviewed had jobs. I get that people got strung along but don't people get to the point where they realize they are just not getting an offer? How is that affecting you negatively is you are still working? Move on.
I interviewed and never thought about it again and kept working. No clue what all this anger is about.

Found out yesterday that an offer was extended to another candidate. I have been in this process for 7 months. I figured it wasn't me because I have friends starting Monday but I was told even last week that I was still in the running and no offers had been extended to the territory I was vying for. Good Luck to those still waiting...

 

ummm thats bullshit everyone who left at the meeting - which honestly was so stupid - you couldn't wait a day for the meeting to end you had to cause drama and go out looking like idiots..anyway, those who left and were expecting counter offers did not get them and they were supposedly key talent so please save the stories. you are a dime a dozen - otsuka doesn't give a shit if you walk - there is always some other fool right behind you to step into your old spot. Honestly - Don't give yourself that much credit.

 

You have zero clue what happened at the meeting and you are angry about it for some reason. I assure you, the folks who left where NOT looking for counter offers and most certainly had no interest in staying. Look around half of your colleagues will be gone in few short months. You can continue being angry at things that are none of you business. News flash - talent moves on when there is nothing left. ✌

Gee consider yourself lucky- reading these posts ...and reps started yesterday?? P1 just called me and left me a VM (!?) yesterday!! what were they waiting for? to make sure that the rep actually showed up on their first day on the job? so over it.

Interesting how manager can leave with 5 reps! Why did she not take all 9 of her reps. Some must have been losers!!! Why did somebody not speak up about manager recruiting and leaving Acadia? Does not seem like a good group of people! Bunch of traders!!!!
