What is up with all the hemophilia CS job postings?

I could reply one of two ways:
    - Everyone sucked so they were terminated and they need to refill the positions, or
    - it's a new sales team.

I'll let you figure it out......

We all know it's a new sales team but the salary / call plan sucks, no company car, no indication of the territory size, product is not approved, etc. offers won't go out until May. What's the motivation to get on board?

Then it sounds like a job not for you, but maybe there is someone out there who it will be just fine.

You seem to know the salary/call plan. Do tell, what is it?

Had my first phone screen. Was told they are moving fast. Anyone else get feedback on position Details?

They were filled a month ago. Crawl back in that cave troll and try again.

If they are all filled then why are they still interviewing?

Most were already filled. Currently there are some vacancies from people backing out. At least that's what I was told. Does anyone know the salary range for this position? It didn't seem appropriate to ask about that on the initial phone screen.

You have no idea what you're talking about. There are 10+ positions recently posted and I've started the interview process for one of those three days ago. Now who's the troll?

Remember this post- Genentech has no idea what kind of market they are entering. I feel sorry for the first reps who take this job, they will be blamed for the slow uptake of conversions. If you want this job, wait for the smoke to clear in a year and the company realizes this market is totally patient driven.

That's where your wrong, kingasabi. Sales are not important. This is not a sales org, rather a development org. People get promoted all the time with horrible sales results. It's all about "who you know ".

    Salary?

I was told in the phone screen salary is 120k-160k depending on experience. This will be a very tough position to get if not already employed by Genentech. Lots of internal candidates for the few positions. Commission plan hasn't been approved yet but at goal will be north of 40k. They are well aware that this market is patient driven- however this is by far the best in class product so times will be changing!

It will be a standard genentech salary, incentive comp and benefit plan, nothing different or special. Being new to this market as with MS, lots to learn for the company so no guarantee for rapid adoption. The few "concerns" with the drug could slow down uptake and goal achievement. Good luck to those who latch on

Tell the patients who passed away during the trial that this drug is "best in class"

This will be a nightmare launch. I can already tell they have no clue about the market they are entering. It will be a ton of finger pointing and stress when uptake is slow. You couldn't pay me to take this job. Good luck to everybody.

Correction Troll - one passed away and it was determined not directly attributable to Hemlibra. No drug is perfect so if it offers even a minimal improvement in quality of life for a disease like this, then let the patients decide.

Unfortunately if you haven't been contacted you aren't getting an interview
