    Get ready fuckers. It's not a question of "if" but "when and how many" Salix TMs will leave as these new companies build out their sales teams.

    Better get those retention packages approved for the TMs. And I'm not talking about that measly $4500 we just got in VRX stock.

    The problem is none of them pay anywhere near what I am making here. Besides there's nothing here that's terribly miserable anymore. Annoying sure... but that will be the case everywhere, it was the case at the old Salix as well. The products here also blow away the opportunities above.
    I'm not going to switch jobs just to switch jobs.

    Rumor going around that there was a lot of talk about this on the director call with Aleks last week. They are worried about the impact on business.

    Secretly offering promotions, pay increases and more stock to TMs they think are a flight risk. Heard from two peers over the weekend who were contacted Friday. They are getting nervous.

    It's being talked about but Aleks won't do shit. So arrogant. He'll pay Lyon more for some stupid reason. And say goodbye to KAM nation. Bobby and temperato will raid this team soon

    That's the big problem. We are about to be a sales force of 95% reps with less than a year of tenure.

    Everyone legacy will jump at the opportunity to work with JT again.

    the exodus will continue! Melinta is more of a hospital play so I would imagine they decimate the KAM team. Radius is already on the prowl and redhill has a ton of Salix people over there. Will be shocked if we don't lose another 50 people in the next few months.

    Correct. What made Salix great in the eyes of our customers were our products and the technical acumen of our sales force. With all the turnover and newbies, there is nothing that distinguishes Salix from the countless others calling on gastroenterology.

    And you are also right that anyone with any tenure at Salix will jump at the chance to join JT and Bobby.

    Not everyone... there's a decent amount of people that want nothing to do with JT and Bobby. Besides -Losing parts of the KAM team would be the least significant loss to our sales revenue.

    I hope we lose a shitload of people and sales plummet. It would give the people who stay an opportunity to get a real retention bonus. And maybe they'd start listening to us instead of giving us another dumb call plan to follow or telling us we would drive better sales if we could just do three more (useless) speaker programs.

    here goes dipshit again asking about retention bonus. You already get paid good money and you do get a bonus evey quarter. This company is over 32 billion in Dept lost 80 billion in value and do u think the company is worrying about giving you more money.

    Hey fucktard. They just gave every manager $40,000 in stock for retention. The first half pays in nine months. I think they make pretty good money too right? What did we get? $3,600-$4,500 that vests over three years. If they can give the managers 10x what they gave us, they need to step up.

    I'm not sure the sky is falling for Salix. You see those companies know that the good people left Salix a long time ago- they won't be coming to Salix to do any recruiting. Yes lots left for Synergy- good luck there. That company will be sold and 90% of them are on contract so nothing. If its not sold they are selling a drug in a crowded market.

    Nobody cares anymore. The writing has been on the wall in every Salix division for a long time now. All the good sales people have left as soon as they could. Only the crumbs remain waiting for a miracle.

    Not all are crumbs. Many are just priced out of the market. Let's face it. The legacy Salix reps are sitting on very big salaries. And the bonuses the last two years have been pretty huge as well. Why leave to go do the same job somewhere else for less money? Yes the culture sucks and so so the 9 useless trackers we now have to fill out every week but we are getting PAID.
