Is Warren Buffett's top guy wrong? Is Valeant really a sewer?

Charlie Munger said that Valeant was a sewer a while ago. Perception is reality of course. Is Valeant currently a sewer?

Valeant had some ethical issues with pricing but that company is largely gone.

Pearson, Ackman are gone. New CEO, CFO. It's a completely different company.

    Yes. Still sewer. Next question.

The old company was a sewer because Pearson drove the reps to produce for shareholders or else they were out. Black folders.

The new company basically turned down a buyout offer last year to try to give Papa a chance but now is stuck with a busted business model, no room for error, and products that are stale. It cannot raise prices like it used to. It cannot be bought out without another company assuming lots of debt. Few companies have the capital to make it happen.

It may not be as evil of a company, but it is very unlikely to have a future. Will likely be broken up for parts, common shares wiped out.

There is a severe disconnect between top management and what is going on in the trenches. They are not enough to save this Titanic disaster I'm afraid.

All this negativity and hostility. You two need to give each other a big hug, since it ain't healthy for your souls.

Yeah, Valeant is such a positive role modle in the industry and the executives are all about the employees. Why would these two guys be negative or hostile given how lucky they are to be with Valeant?
