Had a friend sell this with Takeda. Not true. You do realize this drug owned the market share, correct? The stock also has nothing to do with that and will increase immensely from what it is over the next two months. Orex is very committed to this product being a success.

Contrave has 40 percent of the business. However, scripts have been decreasing weekly the last 5 months. It is the reason why takeda dropped contrave like a hot potato. Saxenda is the only drug in the class that is growing.

    Lololol

That's not the reason Takeda dropped it. Orex ended it. You have no clue what you're talking about. It's still being promoted by both. I don't work for either company, but you are off base. Studies came out about Contrave that weren't positive, but don't take away from it's purpose. Educate yourself. Orexigen is promoting this on their own and offering a BIG package for it, well above Inventiv average. This will sell and sell well. Market share will stay with Contrave. Stock can only go up(50% increase on an expected ruling). Big future for this company. There are some very intelligent Merck guys who are going to make major moves over the next three years with this company. Good luck to those on this contract. It's a damn good one.

I just finished home study and was emailed a list of my call targets to prep of training in La Jolla. This territory is insanely large!! These is NO WAY one Rep is going to make an impact on such a huge territory!!!

Way to think positive. If you think you won't make a difference, you're probably correct.

Likely why you are a contract rep.

So how was the training in LaJolla? Worth it?

I am considering an open position, but can't make the final decision on their offer.

Great drug, terrible Orexigen management and business plan. Ever heard of "low hanging fruit?"
Instead we focus on writers who will never write a branded drug.

My guess there will be a major exit on this contract. Many reps are not making bonus they expected. In addition, many are making zero.

Territories are too large . Can't possibly make an impact . November bonus is paid out let the exodus begin.
