I sat by a lake

My spouse and I had an enjoyable week- end and I hope you all did as well! We ate at a couple of new restaurants, (new for us) and especially liked the Italian restaurant we at at last night!
Yesterday the temperature almost reached 90 degrees! While I worked in the yard for a while, I actually worked up a sweat! The temperature variance here in February still amazes me! Today will reach a high of about 80 degrees, and tomorrow, Valentines Day, it's supposed to rain all day into Wednesday. So, I'm not sure about playing golf on Wednesday.
If our golf game is rained out on Wednesday, I'll work at the Woman's Shelter after lunch. I should know more tomorrow I like the weather here better than the snow they seem to be having in the Northeast.
Amitiza and I did spend an hour at the lake earlier this morning, and I plugged in a call while she ran around.
This week my 4th qtr. bonus check should arrive from my HHC job. I think it will be fairly good, since I have had several referrals by several doc's for our homecare service.

 

Really amazing, the temperature has dropped about 30 degreed since yesterday!
Amitiza and I went to the lake earlier this morning and I was cold! I do prefer warmer weather. It really depends on how warm it will be tomorrow, whether or not we play golf. Either way, we're going out for Thai Food for lunch tomorrow. That's fine with me!
I spent some time at the Woman's Shelter yesterday. I committed to drive their van next week to take some of the women to the mall.
This coming week-end my spouse and I were invited by neighbors to spend time with them at a time- share condo in the "hill country". We're looking forward to it! Since I seldom work, and my neighbors are retired, we can leave home early Friday morning. Hopefully, the weather will be nice. But down here you never know!
It's getting close to the time when I have to make my f2f call again for my largest Sucampo account.
Hopefully, my HHC bonus check will arrive by tomorrow.
FYI- we have an HHC opening in Little Rock, AR. if anyone is interested. We'll find a way!

 

Last night we all decided not to play golf today. The temperature here is about 50 degrees, and it's a bit windy!
But we'll meet at 1:00 for lunch at our Thai restaurant! It's enjoyable getting together each Wednesday, even if we just have lunch and don't play golf! Not working, and meeting friends for lunch is what life should be all about! We all need happiness in our world!

Well friends, I must admit I did miss playing golf yesterday. But it really was rather uncomfortable with temperatures in the low to mid 50's, and a strong wind. Too chilly for me! But lunch was great, as usual!
Today when I took Amitiza to the lake, there was no wind and the temperature had reached about 60 degrees. Much more to my liking! It's supposed to reach 70 degrees this afternoon.
My yard guys have just left. They didn't mow, but they did a nice job cleaning- up dead leaves and plants, especially in the back- yard. Next Monday it's supposed to be cold and rainy again.
This afternoon a couple of us may go to the movies to see "Assassin's Creed". It's supposed to be a really good action flick. I'll let you know.
Tomorrow morning we'll go with my neighbors to their time- share condo in the Hill Country. We should be back late Sunday. We'll drive the Q- 50. We'll take Amitiza with us.

Well, we got back from our trip to the Hill Country about an hour ago. We had a really good time, and this is the most scenic part of our state. Unfortunately, it's rainy today and the temperature is about 50 degrees. But it's supposed to warm- up by mid- week! Great!
Last Thursday I went to the movies to see "Assassin's Creed". I really did enjoy the movie and I highly recommend it! Go see it one afternoon this week.
Because of the rainy weather today, I'm just home relaxing with Amitiza. She enjoyed her first trip to the Hill Country!
Depending on the weather tomorrow, I may spend time helping out at the Woman's Shelter. We're still scheduled to play golf Wednesday. Hopefully it will be sunny and warmer by then.
Friday I got my bonus check from my 4th qtr. HHC job. I was quite pleased, and I hope the first qtr. of this year improves by the end of March. It's starting off somewhat slower than I had hoped.

 

Amitiza and I got back from the lake about half an hour ago. The day seems beautiful here, and the rain has already passed by. The temperature should reach the upper 60's by this afternoon! And the sky is clear.
I'll probably go to the driving range this afternoon. Golf should be fine tomorrow, and our tee- time is at 8:30.
I selected barbeque for our group to have lunch! It's always been one of my favorites.
Before I go to the driving range this afternoon, I'll make my f2f Sucampo call on my largest account. It's something they require, and I don't want to arouse any suspicions.
This week- end my sister and family may spend time with us. I really think they're more interested in buying rodeo tickets! I've never been a rodeo fan.

 

The weather here is absolutely beautiful! Yesterday it reached 78 degrees, and today should reach 80 degrees!
We managed to play 18 holes yesterday, and I shot an 82. Even the doc shot in the low 80's!
I had brisket for lunch. Everyone in our group seems to enjoy barbeque!
Amitiza and I spent over an hour at the lake this morning. When we got home a little while ago, my yard guys had already gone. I think they managed to finish cleaning up my backyard from the freeze a few weeks ago. Anyway, my yard looks good!
Tuesday I made my f2f call on my largest Sucampo account. This afternoon I'll make a couple of HHC calls I need to make. Tomorrow my sister and family are coming in town. There is a new sea food restaurant we'll try on Saturday evening. I'm sure Saturday morning they'll buy rodeo tickets from an outlet near my house. I really enjoy it when my nephew comes to visit! He's become quite the young man!

Well, this past week- end my sister and brother- in- law bought tickets for the Rodeo. And my spouse and I will be going with them. We got tickets for Willie Nelson's appearance on March 18. Although I'm not a rodeo fan, I do like "Willie", and I've never seen him perform "live".
The only other available performance choice was Alan Jackson on the 11th. We opted for "Willie"! I wanted to see ZZ Top, but their performance at the end of March was already sold out! Believe it or not, I live only about a mile from Frank Beard, their drummer! But I've never met him personally!
The weather here has become cloudy, but it's warm. Today is supposed to reach 80 degrees, but with a chance of rain.
Amitiza and I went to the lake earlier and there were several people there with their dogs. She had fun playing with them in the water!
Tomorrow afternoon I'll either work at the Woman's Shelter, or go to the driving range if it's not raining. Hopefully the weather will be nice on Wednesday for golf. We've really been blessed the last several weeks because of the weather, to be able to play a full round of golf each week!

 

Well, it hasn't rained here yet. That is supposed to happen tomorrow, so golf may be ruled out. We kept our tee- time for 8:40 still, just in case the weatherman is wrong! We'll still have lunch together, either way. Our group has decided on Italian food.
This afternoon I have decided to help out at the Woman's Shelter, instead of going to the driving range.
Amitiza and I went to the lake earlier and she had fun while I plugged in a call. The weather is warm, and it's supposed to be in the mid 80's this afternoon! Yesterday the temperature reached 83 degrees! Big change from the February's I remenber growing up in New York.
So far I don't have much planned for the up- coming week- end. My spouse will be away at a retreat for the week- end. I'll try and catch a college baseball game on Saturday. There are several games to choose from, along with a pro- basketball game I might be able to attend with a friend.

 

We played 18 holes yesterday, and it was very warm on the golfcourse. I shot an 81, but I did manage to putt better than I usually do! I had Veal Marsala for lunch. Today is a bit chilly, and the temperature is only supposed to reach the upper 60's.
Amitiza and I went to the lake earlier and she ran around with a couple of other dogs while I plugged in a 2 calls- for my HHC job.
When we got home from the lake, my yard guys had left. They did another good job this morning. Earlier the owner of the landscape company came by to check them out. I appreciate him coming around every couple of months to make sure I'm satisfied with their work. They work directly for him. There are 11 homes on my street, and his crew does work for 3 homeowners in our cul-de-sac.
This Saturday a friend and I are going to 2 college basketball games. Personally, I like college basketball more than I like pro basketball. One game is at noon, while the other game starts at 7 PM. My spouse won't be home from her retreat until Sunday afternoon.

Today I'll relax a bit at home. This past week- end I went to a couple of basketball games on Saturday, and saw our Pro team play yesterday. Great fun together with a friend. My spouse returned home safely from a retreat, last evening.
The weather the last couple of days has been rainy. It's supposed to rain through tomorrow, but the temperature will be in the 70's!
Amitiza and I went to the lake earlier, and she played with several other dogs who were there. I sat and plugged in a couple of calls.
This week- end is my nephew's birthday party. So my spouse and I will be going out of town and stay with my sister this week- end. We'll drive there Thursday evening. My spouse has an important meeting, and won't be home until after 5 PM, when we leave. We'll take the Q-50. I'll have to put Amitiza in the kennel for a couple of days. I'm sure it will "piss her off"!
Hopefully, we'll be able to play golf Wednesday.

 

Well the weather here is not very nice. Although it hasn't rained today yet, it looks like it could! At least the temperature is warm which makes it comfortable.
Amitiza and I went to the lake earlier. She always has fun running around, and I did spend time plugging in acouple of calls.
I've decided to work at the Woman's Shelter this afternoon for a couple of hours. Tomorrow we still have golf scheduled, and we'll have Chinese food for lunch. Being together with friends is always enjoyable each week! It's one of the things in life I really enjoy! It certainly beats working! But receiving 2 paychecks deposited in my account is also one of the things in life I really enjoy! Sucampo and HHC can;t be beat!!
If we're unable to play golf tomorrow, the doc invited us to his house for a card game. Thursday I leave to go to my sister's house.

 

Well, the last several days were most enjoyable! To begin with, we decided to play only 9 holes of golf last Wednesday! It was fun, and the weather was warm on the golfcourse.
On Thursday my spouse and I drove to my sister's house, in our Q-50, and on Friday we celebrated my nephew's birthday! He's 3 now, and really is becomming very "social". He has no problems meeting strangers, and he really enjoys talking to people!
Several of the neighbor kids came over for cake and ice cream. My sister has a pool in her yard, but it was just a bit too cold to allow them to swim!
My spouse and I got home late last night, and I picked- up Amitiza at the kennel earlier this morning. I'll take her to the lake for some exercise this afternoon. I know she is anxious to run around!
It has become cloudy and chilly today. The temperature is in the lower 50's, and for me, that's too cold! It's supposed to be in the 50's most of this week, and I don't know how that will affect our golf game Wednesday. But either way, we'll all get together!

 

It's very sunny today, and the temperature is in the upper 50's. It's supposed to warm- up to the mid 60's this afternoon. That's more to my liking!
Amitiza spent about 45 minutes at the lake this morning. I was able to plug in a call while she ran after squirrels near the shore.
Tomorrow we will probably play 9 holes of golf if it stays cool. We decided on having Sea Food again for our lunch, since we enjoyed it very much a few weeks ago. The restaurant we're going to is quite good!
Soon I'll have to once again make my f2f call with my large Sucampo account. Everything else can be made- up!
I'm actually looking forward to going to The Rodeo this Saturday! It's going to be exciting seeing Willie Nelson perform live! Of course, next Monday I'll let you all know my opinion. My sister and her family will be driving here on Friday evening.

 

Yesterday was really quite nice on the golfcourse! Temperature was about 70 drgrees, little wind and they had just manicured the greens. We decided to play 9 holes. Lunch was great, as I had flounder fillets for my lunch!
Amitiza and I spent about an hour at the lake earlier this morning.It's somewhat cloudy today, but the temperature will reach the upper 60's. During our stay at the lake I was able to plug in a call while Amitiza chase after a couple of other dogs.
My yard guys have already left this morning, but I had a chance to talk with them before Amitiza and I went to the lake earlier. They did mow, and cut back some of my roses.They always know what to do for my yard!
Tomorrow evening my sister and family arrive. As I've said, we'll be going to the Live Stock Show and Rodeo on Saturday night to see Willie Nelson perform.Yes, I'm kind of looking forward to going. I'll wear my jeans and a new western shirt I bought last week when I took some ladies from the Woman's Shelter to the mall.
Today I'll make my f2f Sucampo call. Most of tomorrow I'll just relax at home.

Well, I saw Willie Nelson live Saturday night at the Livestock Show and Rodeo. He was pretty good, and we did have good seats! It was a sell- out and very crowded! Really, there were too many people there for my liking. But he put on a good show, and I do like most of his music. It was somewhat difficult getting out of the parking lot when we left, and the cost of parking was $20. Total cost for the four of us was over $150., which included food and drinks, etc. The Rodeo here is the largest in the U.S., and I'm sure it makes a lot of money!
Amitiza and I spent time at the lake this morning, and I plugged in a call. Last week I did make my Sucampo f2f call, and it went well.
The weather here has been great! Shorts and tee shirt at the lake.
Tomorrow afternoon I'll probably go to the driving range to practice my golf strokes. If the weather stays like this, in the upper 70's and low 80's, I'm sure we'll play 18 holes on Wednesday.

 

Well, another beautiful day here! Yesterday the temperature reached 84 drgrees, and today it's supposed to be the same! I really like it.
This afternoon I'll go to the driving range for an hour or so and hit a few buckets of balls. Hopefully we'll be able to play 18 holes tomorrow. We're going to have deli food for lunch! Probably my favorite!
My neighbor once again invited us to his condo for the week- end. But next Monday is my birthday, and a few friends invited my spouse and I for dinner on Saturday! Since I rarely work at either job, I could have gone next Monday. Some friends do work and have more time on the week- end.
Amitiza and I spent an hour at the lake this morning. Unfortunately, she almost had a fight with another Lab. But everything all worked out, and they both tried to catch squirrels together! I had the chance to plug in two calls.
Our tee- time tomorrow is set for 8:45.

 

Well, it was another beautiful day on the golfcourse yesterday! I shot an 83! It's always fun playing golf, and collecting a paycheck from 2 companies! Life is very good in this respect!
Once again I had a corned beef sandwich on rye for lunch! The food at this deli we go to is quite good, and reminds me of the New York deli's I frequented as a kid!
Anitiza and I spent over an hour at the lake this morning.I was able to plug in a call while she ran around the shore. The tempweature in the morning is usually in the 60's, and by the afternoon it's in the 80's.
When we got home from the lake my yard guys had left. They continued cleaning- up the yard, picking up twigs and dead wood from my trees. We certainly had a mild winter here! In the next couple of weeks, the guys should fertilize the yard.
This week- end I plan on staying home and relaxing. Tomorrow night I'll cook steaks on the grill.
My birthday is Monday, and friends are taking us to dinner Saturday evening at a Brazilian restaurant! (I've never been there).

Well, it was a very lovely week- end for me. The restaurant we were taken to was wonderful, and the entrees were fantastic and very well prepared! Even though my birthday is today, the week- end was something special for me and my spouse!
Amitiza and I spent time at the lake earlier today. She had fun chasing other dogs while I spent time plugging in a call.
The weather is still very nice, and in the afternoon it gets into the low to mid 80's. Yesterday Amitiza even went to the lake and just sat around for a couple of hours. The week- ends at the lake are usually crowded, so I prefer going during week days.
Friday is the end of the 1st qtr. for my HHC job. It's been a good qtr. because business has been steady. I have several doc offices that recommend my company for patients who need us. But this qtr. I haven't picked- up many new doc offices. But I'm "solid" with the doc's who have given me a chance to earn their business!
Tomorrow afternoon I'll spend time at the driving range to practice my putting.

 

The weather here continues to be great! Afternoons about 82 degrees, with comfortable mornings about 70 degrees. However, rain is in the forecast for later this week.
Amitiza and I went to the lake earlier this morning. As usual, she ran around and got into the water! I spent time putting down calls for both my jobs.
Hopefully, the rain will hold off so we can play at least 9 holes of golf tomorrow. All of our group likes playing every week, and we all hate to see our game interrupted by bad weather!
We have decided on having Thai Food for lunch tomorrow. Always enjoyable to me! And we'll all go to lunch together regardless of the weather.
