20+ years of ophthalmic sales experience. Recruiter called about Chic/Mil position. Any help with what's it like with Alimera? Management, Marketing Support, Salary, etc...

It is a bit concerning that 9 territories are open across the country. Seems like a lot of movement in upper management as well.

It's like this. The recent quarter growth vs same period last year represented less than 1 unit per representative for the whole 3 month period....there's your answer.

It's a bit of a sales job to convince doctors to invest $13,000 per unit. They go on faith that the Alimera contact in the corp. office can clear the patients insurance to pay for it. Once a physician has a few months to evaluate the efficacy of the product compared to competition, they are usually on board.

Phone screen with the Virginia DM. Does anyone have any feedback on him or the position?

My gut is that this is a poorly run company.
One drug. No upside. Management seems disconnected.
    Glad I didn't pursue.

Directors weak. Some home office mgmt ok but field leadership is poor

the new VP is cleaning house and bringing in his own people. Solid people being let go for no reason.
Don’t come here. I’m doing my best to get out.

If initials are BW, he's phony as a three dollar bill.
The company is on life support and the new VP of Sales has no eyecare experience!!
